zoomCreate and manage Zoom meetings and access cloud recordings via the Zoom API.
Zoom is an agent skill from glebis/claude-skills. Create and manage Zoom meetings and access cloud recordings via the Zoom API. Use for queries like "create a Zoom meeting", "list my Zoom meetings", "show my Zoom recordings", or "schedule a meeting for tomorrow".
Its SKILL.md is about 1.8k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 5 other files, including scripts (for example `.claude-plugin/plugin.json`, `README.md` and `scripts/zoom_meetings.py`).
It sits in Backend & APIs. It works with Zoom. The repository describes itself as: Collection of Claude Code skills for enhanced AI workflows. The licence is MIT.
7 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 7524dff. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Ships 1 file in scripts/ (Python), which the agent can run.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
python3pipFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:
zoom.usAlso links to:
marketplace.zoom.usdevelopers.zoom.usFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names these keys or tokens, usually read from environment variables:
CLIENT_SECRETFrom names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Zoom loads about 1.8k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 55 tokens; SKILL.md has 363 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.
The full file from glebis/claude-skills at commit 7524dff, republished under its MIT licence (© glebis). 363 words, ~1,766 tokens.

Note: All times passed to create/update commands are interpreted as local time. The script auto-detects your timezone if not explicitly specified with --timezone.
This skill uses two authentication methods:

join_before_host is account-level. This setting is locked at the Zoom account admin level. Setting it via API per-meeting is silently ignored if the account setting overrides it. Must change in Zoom admin settings (Security → "Allow participants to join before host") first, then API calls respect it.join_before_host won't work even if the API accepts it.© glebis, MIT. Zoom fits situations like: queries like create a Zoom meeting; list my Zoom meetings; show my Zoom recordings; schedule a meeting for tomorrow.
Run `npx skills add glebis/claude-skills --skill zoom -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (zoom in glebis/claude-skills) into .claude/skills/zoom in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add glebis/claude-skills --skill zoom -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (zoom in glebis/claude-skills) into .agents/skills/zoom in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add glebis/claude-skills --skill zoom -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/zoom, .gemini/skills/zoom, .github/skills/zoom and .opencode/skills/zoom in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Zoom needs Python for the scripts in its folder, the command-line tools its instructions call (python3 and pip) and credentials named CLIENT_SECRET. Our summary lists: Python 3; A credential in YOUR_CLIENT_SECRET; A credential in CLIENT_SECRET.
SKILL.md names 3 domains. In commands or code: zoom.us; the agent is likely to contact it when it follows the instructions. As links in the text: marketplace.zoom.us and developers.zoom.us. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
Zoom is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 1.8k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 7.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
Skills that share tags, products or a category with Zoom: Zoom (asgeirtj/system_prompts_leaks, 69k stars), Configuring Horizon (coollabsio/coolify, 63k stars), Nestjs Best Practices (rolling-scopes/rsschool-app, 10k stars) and Sub2API Admin (Wei-Shaw/sub2api, 43k stars). The comparison table on this page puts their stars, adoption, token cost, safety result and licence side by side.
