check-prsScans open pull requests against the project's review response window and reports which ones need action, read-only unless you approve a reminder.
Running `/check-prs` lists open pull requests with the GitHub CLI, skips drafts and looks at each one's reviews and comments. It finds the latest maintainer review and its verdict, any author activity since then, which resets the window, and the days waiting. Each PR lands in one status: awaiting review, changes requested within the window, changes requested with the seven-day window lapsed and so eligible for takeover, author responded, or approved. The policy it checks is the review response window in CONTRIBUTING.md.
The report is a table sorted by urgency, with lapsed PRs first, then author-responded and awaiting review, and a next action for each. Lapsed PRs include concrete evidence such as the review date and last author activity so a takeover decision can be verified. For PRs five or six days into the window, it can draft a friendly reminder comment, show it and post it only after you confirm.

Stale PR Review Check loads about 549 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 20 tokens; SKILL.md has 210 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check noted patterns worth knowing about, such as sudo or a known installer.
allowed-tools: Bash, Read, mcp__github__list_pull_requests, mcp__github__get_pull_request_reviews, mcp__github__addAutomated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 210 words (~549 tokens).
“Scan all open pull requests and report where each stands against the review response window policy in CONTRIBUTING.md. Read-only by default — run manually whenever you want an overview. Posting reminders is optional and gated.”

Run `npx skills add gittower/git-flow-next --skill check-prs -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.claude/skills/check-prs in gittower/git-flow-next) into .claude/skills/check-prs in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add gittower/git-flow-next --skill check-prs -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/check-prs, .gemini/skills/check-prs, .github/skills/check-prs and .opencode/skills/check-prs in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Stale PR Review Check needs the command-line tools its instructions call (gh). Our summary lists: GitHub CLI (gh) authenticated for the repository; A review response window policy in CONTRIBUTING.md. Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Bash, Read, mcp__github__list_pull_requests, mcp__github__get_pull_request_reviews, mcp__github__add_issue_comment.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Its commands use gh, which can reach the network depending on how they are called. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found notes only (pre-approves every shell command (allowed-tools: bash)), nothing it rates as a warning. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Stale PR Review Check has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 549 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.2k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
