Translation Diff Export
Devolutions/UniGetUI
Compares UniGetUI JSON locale files against English, identifies untranslated or source-changed keys, and generates patch, reference, and handoff files for a target language.
Measure the peak memory and wall time of a single translation unit or link step, so build parallelism can be sized from evidence.

measure-build-costMeasure the peak memory and wall time of a single translation unit or link step, so build parallelism can be sized from evidence.
Measure Build Cost is an agent skill from fair-acc/gnuradio4. Measure the peak memory and wall time of a single translation unit or link step, so build parallelism can be sized from evidence. Use before changing GRBUILDPARALLELLEVEL or when diagnosing an out-of-memory build.
Its SKILL.md is about 410 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Writing & Content, covering Translation. The repository describes itself as: Prototype implementations for a more compile-time efficient flowgraph API. The licence is LGPL-3.0.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 442345b. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
cmakeFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Measure Build Cost loads about 408 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 59 tokens; SKILL.md has 156 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from fair-acc/gnuradio4 at commit 442345b, republished under its LGPL-3.0 licence (© fair-acc). 156 words, ~408 tokens.
.claude/skills/measure-build-cost/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).Memory, not core count, bounds this build: single translation units have exceeded 7 GB.
cmake -S . -B <tree> -G Ninja -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=<type> -DCMAKE_CXX_COMPILER=<cxx> [flags]
cd <tree>
o=$(grep -o "[^ ]*/<name>\.cpp\.o" build.ninja | head -1)
ninja -j4 "$o" # build dependencies FIRST
rm -f "$o"
CCACHE_DISABLE=1 /usr/bin/time -f "%M %e" ninja -j1 "$o" # KB peak RSS, secondsPre-build the dependencies. /usr/bin/time on a ninja invocation charges the whole dependency
chain to the target. Skipping this produced a 149 s figure for a 21 s translation unit and a 2.7 GB
figure for a 0.2 GB link — both wrong, both used to justify wrong conclusions.
CCACHE_DISABLE=1, or a cache hit reports the cost of copying a file.
Delete only the target, never the whole tree.
Match the CI configuration exactly. -DADDRESS_SANITIZER=ON adds 12-21 % peak RSS; coverage
instrumentation adds its own. A measurement without the sanitiser understates every GCC matrix job.
Sum the peak RSS of the translation units that appear together in the failing log, add the
shared-library link (heavy: ~3 GB; executable links are ~0.2 GB), and compare against ~16 GB. Set
-DGR_BUILD_PARALLEL_LEVEL=<N> from that sum.

Synchronize translation catalogs across maintained Symfony branches: find messages that newer branches added to the English catalogs but that are still missing from the oldest maintained branch…
Devolutions/UniGetUI
Merges translated key-value pairs from a UniGetUI JSON localization patch back into the full language file and validates the merged result.
Devolutions/UniGetUI
Translates a sparse UniGetUI JSON language patch, writes completed entries into the working copy, preserves placeholders and terminology, and prepares the patch for merge-back.

Measure Build Cost fits situations like: tasks that involve Translation.
Run `npx skills add fair-acc/gnuradio4 --skill measure-build-cost -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.claude/skills/measure-build-cost in fair-acc/gnuradio4) into .claude/skills/measure-build-cost in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add fair-acc/gnuradio4 --skill measure-build-cost -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.claude/skills/measure-build-cost in fair-acc/gnuradio4) into .agents/skills/measure-build-cost in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add fair-acc/gnuradio4 --skill measure-build-cost -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/measure-build-cost, .gemini/skills/measure-build-cost, .github/skills/measure-build-cost and .opencode/skills/measure-build-cost in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Measure Build Cost needs the command-line tools its instructions call (cmake).
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Measure Build Cost is published under the LGPL-3.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 408 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 1.6k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
