ai-image-creatorGenerates PNG images through OpenRouter models, with transparent backgrounds and reference-image edits, and describes existing images with multimodal vision.
Images are generated through several models routed via Cloudflare AI Gateway with your own keys, or directly through OpenRouter or Google AI Studio. Saying gemini, riverflow, flux2, seedream or gpt5 selects the matching --model value, with gemini as the default. Long prompts go into workspace/assets/prompts/prompt.txt and short ones inline. The agent is told to write detailed prompts with style, composition, an explicit background and a target size, and optional prompt-pattern reference files load only when a request fits their category.
Flags include -t for a transparent background, -r to edit from a reference image, --analyze to describe or explain an existing image, and --costs for per-project cost tracking, along with aspect ratio and resolution settings. The folder holds generate-image.py and composite-banners.py plus references for the API, setup, platforms and analysis. It needs uv and network access, with keys set in your shell profile.
8 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 7f5dd76. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves these tools, so the agent can use them without asking each time:
BashReadWriteFrom allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Ships 2 files in scripts/ (Python), which the agent can run.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
uvmagickbrewaptffmpegFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Links to these hosts (documentation or services it may open):
openrouter.aiFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names these keys or tokens, usually read from environment variables:
AI_IMG_CREATOR_CF_TOKENAI_IMG_CREATOR_OPENROUTER_KEYAI_IMG_CREATOR_GEMINI_KEYFrom names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Requires uv (Python runner) and network access. Environment variables for CF AI Gateway or direct API keys must be configured in shell profile (~/.zshrc on macOS, ~/.bashrc on Linux, or System Environment Variables on Windows).
From compatibility in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
AI Image Creator loads about 5.1k tokens when it runs, and up to ~18k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 186 tokens; SKILL.md has 1,824 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check noted patterns worth knowing about, such as sudo or a known installer.
auto-loads env vars from the workspace `.env`. Choose provider based on available keys:- **Do NOT use `source .env`** — the Python script loads it internally. Just run the command directly.allowed-tools: Bash, Read, WriteAutomated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 1,824 words (~5,092 tokens).

AI Image Creator fits situations like: generating a PNG icon or illustration for a project; making an asset with a transparent background; editing an image from a reference picture; describing or analyzing an existing image.
Run `npx skills add evolution-foundation/evo-nexus --skill ai-image-creator -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.claude/skills/ai-image-creator in evolution-foundation/evo-nexus) into .claude/skills/ai-image-creator in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add evolution-foundation/evo-nexus --skill ai-image-creator -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.claude/skills/ai-image-creator in evolution-foundation/evo-nexus) into .agents/skills/ai-image-creator in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add evolution-foundation/evo-nexus --skill ai-image-creator -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/ai-image-creator, .gemini/skills/ai-image-creator, .github/skills/ai-image-creator and .opencode/skills/ai-image-creator in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, AI Image Creator needs Python for the scripts in its folder, the command-line tools its instructions call (uv, magick, brew, apt and ffmpeg) and credentials named AI_IMG_CREATOR_CF_TOKEN, AI_IMG_CREATOR_OPENROUTER_KEY and AI_IMG_CREATOR_GEMINI_KEY. Our summary lists: uv, the Python runner; Network access; Cloudflare AI Gateway variables or direct API keys set in your shell profile. Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Bash, Read, Write. Compatibility (from SKILL.md): Requires uv (Python runner) and network access. Environment variables for CF AI Gateway or direct API keys must be configured in shell profile (~/.zshrc on macOS, ~/.bashrc on Linux, or System Environment Variables on Windows)..
SKILL.md names 1 domain. As links in the text: openrouter.ai. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found notes only (mentions a .env file; pre-approves every shell command (allowed-tools: bash)), nothing it rates as a warning. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
AI Image Creator has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 5.1k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 20k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 13k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
Skills that share tags, products or a category with AI Image Creator: Generate Image (K-Dense-AI/claude-scientific-writer, 2.4k stars), Nano Banana Pro Openrouter (github/awesome-copilot, 40k stars), AI Image Creator (centminmod/my-claude-code-setup, 2.7k stars) and Openrouter Img (rtadewald/skills, 180 stars). The comparison table on this page puts their stars, adoption, token cost, safety result and licence side by side.
