mobile-harnessGives an agent tap, swipe, screenshot, and app-launch control over local Android or iOS devices, or cloud devices, through one Python client.
This skill routes the agent through a single top-level file to the smallest relevant platform guide, then always connects through one client class that can target cloud devices, local Android over ADB with an optional companion app, local Android over HTTP only, or local iOS over HTTP; a lower-level local driver is never called directly.
It reads a platform guide for Android or iOS work as needed, and only opens recovery, credential, memory, or per-app card files when the top-level guide routes there. Setup and runtime registration are covered in a separate install file, and the skill ships per-app cards describing specific apps such as a browser, a settings app, and an email client.
4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 254fd8d. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are python).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Mobile Device Control Harness loads about 315 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 61 tokens; SKILL.md has 130 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from droidrun/mobile-harness at commit 254fd8d, republished under its MIT licence (© droidrun). 130 words, ~315 tokens.
.claude/skills/mobile-harness/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). This skill also uses 40 other files; get the full folder from GitHub.Use this harness when an agent needs to control Android or iOS devices through Mobilerun.
Start by reading AGENTS.md. It routes you to the smallest platform file for
the current task.
Normal device control always uses:
from mobilerun_core import MobilerunUse Mobilerun() to connect to cloud devices, local Android ADB with optional
Portal, local Android Portal HTTP-only, or local iOS Portal HTTP. Do not import
or call mobilerun_core_local directly for normal agent work. mobilerun-core-local is the
local-driver dependency used internally by mobilerun-core for Android and iOS
local backends.
AGENTS.md.platforms/android/GUIDE.md for Android work.platforms/ios/GUIDE.md for iOS work.AGENTS.md or the platform guide. For setup and runtime registration, read install.md.

Answers questions about Mobilerun, the LLM-agent framework for automating Android and iOS devices, by pointing the agent to the right page of its v5 documentation.
blokadaorg/blokada
A skill your agent uses for dynamic inspection and navigation of the Blokada app through the repo-local Appium machine session.
rounak/PhoneAgent
Control a connected iPhone, iOS simulator, Android emulator, or Android device from macOS through PhoneAgent's JSON-RPC bridge.
pranshuchittora/simvyn
Operate iOS Simulators, Android Emulators, and connected mobile devices with Simvyn.
nuclearpasta/react-native-drax
Drives iOS and Android devices and simulators from the command line: open apps, snapshot the UI tree, tap, type, scroll, take screenshots and read UI info.
blokadaorg/blokada
A skill your agent uses for pulling recent Blokada app logs from a connected device, using the same share-log file exposed in Settings.

Mobile Device Control Harness fits situations like: automating taps and swipes on an Android or iOS device; taking screenshots or launching apps on a cloud phone; scripting a repeatable mobile UI flow for testing.
Run `npx skills add droidrun/mobile-harness --skill mobile-harness -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (the droidrun/mobile-harness repository) into .claude/skills/mobile-harness in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add droidrun/mobile-harness --skill mobile-harness -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (the droidrun/mobile-harness repository) into .agents/skills/mobile-harness in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add droidrun/mobile-harness --skill mobile-harness -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/mobile-harness, .gemini/skills/mobile-harness, .github/skills/mobile-harness and .opencode/skills/mobile-harness in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Mobile Device Control Harness is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: A connected local Android (ADB) or iOS device, or a cloud device.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Mobile Device Control Harness is published under the MIT licence (from the LICENSE file in the skill folder). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 315 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 1.3k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
