mobilerun-docsAnswers questions about Mobilerun, the LLM-agent framework for automating Android and iOS devices, by pointing the agent to the right page of its v5 documentation.
This is a documentation reference for Mobilerun, an open-source (MIT) framework that controls Android and iOS devices through LLM agents using natural language commands. The SKILL.md summarizes installation (`uv tool install mobilerun`, with Gemini, OpenAI, DeepSeek, Ollama and OpenRouter support included and Anthropic and Langfuse as optional extras) and the requirements: Python 3.11 or later, ADB and the Portal APK on the device.
It describes the architecture: a MobileAgent coordinates either a reasoning mode, where a manager plans and an executor acts in a loop, or a direct mode where a CodeActAgent writes and runs Python. A scripter agent handles off-device computation and a structured-output agent extracts typed data. The atomic device actions are listed (click, long press, type, swipe, open app and more) along with a map of the source tree. For answers, the agent is sent to specific files under `docs/v5/`, which it must read rather than guess.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 1935ada. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Ships script files (Python, from the files we listed), which the agent can run.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:

Links to these hosts (documentation or services it may open):

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Mobilerun Docs Reference loads about 943 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 70 tokens; SKILL.md has 279 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Answers questions about Mobilerun, the LLM-agent framework for automating Android and iOS devices, by pointing the agent to the right page of its v5 documentation. This is a documentation reference for Mobilerun, an open-source (MIT) framework that controls Android and iOS devices through LLM agents using natural language commands.11 or later, ADB and the Portal APK on the device.
Mobilerun Docs Reference fits situations like: answering how to set up or configure Mobilerun; looking up Mobilerun CLI commands, SDK usage or device setup; understanding the agent architecture, app cards, credentials or tracing; using structured output or migrating in Mobilerun.
Run `npx skills add droidrun/mobilerun --skill mobilerun-docs -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (the droidrun/mobilerun repository) into .claude/skills/mobilerun-docs in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add droidrun/mobilerun --skill mobilerun-docs -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (the droidrun/mobilerun repository) into .agents/skills/mobilerun-docs in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add droidrun/mobilerun --skill mobilerun-docs -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/mobilerun-docs, .gemini/skills/mobilerun-docs, .github/skills/mobilerun-docs and .opencode/skills/mobilerun-docs in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Mobilerun Docs Reference needs Python for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (uv). Our summary lists: Python 3.11 or later; ADB; The Portal APK installed on the device.
SKILL.md names 1 domain. As links in the text: docs.mobilerun.ai. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Mobilerun Docs Reference is published under the MIT licence (from the LICENSE file in the skill folder). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 943 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.8k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
