kalshi-marketsPulls Kalshi prediction market data such as prices, orderbooks, trades, events and series with ten small standalone Python scripts.
Each script in `scripts/` is self-contained, has its own HTTP client and depends on no other script, so the agent loads only the one it needs. They cover exchange status, browsing and searching markets (search uses caching), details for one market, orderbook bid and ask levels, recent trades, event listings and details, and series templates, of which roughly 6900 exist. No authentication is needed for any of them.
Scripts run with `uv run` and all take `--help` and `--json`. The skill tells the agent to use `--json` when processing data, to prefer high-volume markets, series and events, and to read `--help` rather than the script source unless absolutely necessary, since each script runs about 200 to 300 lines. They work from any directory.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit db930dc. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Ships 10 files in scripts/ (Python), which the agent can run.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
uvFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use uv, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Kalshi Markets Data loads about 583 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 69 tokens; SKILL.md has 241 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 241 words (~583 tokens).
“Standalone, self-contained scripts for Kalshi prediction markets. Each script is independently executable with zero dependencies between scripts.”

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add disler/beyond-mcp --skill kalshi-markets -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Kalshi Markets Data needs Python for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (uv). Our summary lists: uv, to run the Python scripts; Network access to Kalshi's public data.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Its commands use uv, which can reach the network depending on how they are called. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
No licence was found for Kalshi Markets Data or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 583 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.3k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
