install-loopInstalls Loop Engineering into a project through the single @cobusgreyling/loop CLI, scaffolding a report-only loop and a readiness score.
The skill installs Loop Engineering through one CLI, npx @cobusgreyling/loop, and leaves the repo with a report-only loop scaffold, a Loop Ready score and clear next actions. If LOOP.md or STATE.md already exists it runs the doctor check only and skips scaffolding unless you ask to re-scaffold. Otherwise it chooses a pattern by the pain described: daily-triage by default, or pr-babysitter, ci-sweeper, dependency-sweeper, post-merge-cleanup, changelog-drafter, issue-triage or thin-loop.
Next it picks a tool (claude by default, or grok, codex or opencode), runs init, then doctor, whose exit code 0, 1 or 2 means healthy, warnings or blocked; the agent follows the top three printed actions rather than inventing more structure. A cost command is run before any high-cadence schedule. The first week stays report-only, with no auto-fix or auto-merge, and the older loop-init and loop-audit commands remain valid. Fleet, memory and foundry features wait for a score of 80 or more and your say-so.

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Install Loop Engineering loads about 648 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 73 tokens; SKILL.md has 227 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

uditgoenka/autoresearch
Runs an autonomous modify, verify, keep-or-discard loop against any metric, with subcommands for planning, debugging, fixing, security audits, shipping and more.
loopx-project/loopx
Diagnoses surprising LoopX behavior, such as stale recommendations or tiny progress, assigns it to the responsible layer and repairs it at the lowest durable level.
tanweai/pua
Runs an unattended iterate-until-verified loop in which a user-set verify command, not the agent's own claim, decides when the task is finished.
Wirasm/prp
Runs the plan, implement and review pipeline detached in fresh headless sessions, looping review and fix until the pull request is clean.
Yeachan-Heo/oh-my-claudecode
Runs an autonomous improvement loop on a repository: agents propose and execute plans, a tournament picks the winner by benchmark, and each round is recorded and plotted.
Yeachan-Heo/gajae-code
Runs one improvement mission as a bounded loop: each round makes a change, runs a strict JSON evaluator, logs the decision in markdown and continues until a max runtime is hit.
cobusgreyling/loop-engineering
Loads a project's loop-constraints.md before any other action and blocks pushes, edits or merges that violate the rules it defines.
cobusgreyling/loop-engineering
Turns a structured list of changes from changelog-scan into a categorized, user-facing release notes draft file, and never publishes anything.
cobusgreyling/loop-engineering
Scans open GitHub issues and discussions, flags duplicates, scores priority and proposes labels into issue-triage-state.md without ever labeling or closing.
cobusgreyling/loop-engineering
Turns CI failures, open issues, recent commits and chat threads into a prioritized markdown report that an automation loop can act on without inventing architecture work.
cobusgreyling/loop-engineering
Check token budget and run-log spend before and after a loop run. Enforces early exit when over budget or when there is no actionable work.
cobusgreyling/loop-engineering
Tracks open pull requests and records CI state, staleness, merge conflicts and unanswered review comments in a state file, then lists the top three actions for a human.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Install Loop Engineering needs the command-line tools its instructions call (npx). Our summary lists: Node.js with npx to run the loop CLI.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Its commands use npx, which can reach the network depending on how they are called. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
