browsing-amazonSearches Amazon products and groceries, reads product pages and cart contents, and adds explicitly named items to cart, stopping short of checkout.
The skill is an index over five reference files, each covering one action on www.amazon.com: search for products or scoped grocery searches, product-data for details such as price, availability, seller, images and variants, grocery-storefront for Amazon Fresh or Whole Foods modules and deal cards, cart-data for reading cart contents and subtotal without changing anything, and add-to-cart for adding a selected item and quantity.
A real browser is recommended, and login plus a delivery location are needed for personalized grocery availability, cart contents, Past Purchases, Repeat Items and delivery slots. Add-to-cart is the only write action, and it never proceeds to checkout. The skill's own benchmark table compares token use and time against a no-skill browser agent for the search and product-data actions, with the grocery, cart and add-to-cart benchmarks still marked as planned.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 07855b5. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Amazon.com Browsing Actions loads about 702 tokens when it runs, and up to ~13k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 137 tokens; SKILL.md has 257 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

.claude/skills/browsing-amazon/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). This skill also uses 5 other files; get the full folder from GitHub.Use this index to choose the Amazon.com action that matches the user request, then open only the linked reference file for the complete navigation, requirements, code, and return shape.
Benchmarks compare the maintained skill action against a no-skill browser agent that inspects the live page DOM and derives selectors at runtime. Full notes live in BENCHMARKS.md.
| Action | With Skill | Without Skill | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| search | 17,588 tokens / ~20.7s | 21,770 tokens / ~22.3s | Skill returned complete visible cards; no-skill missed product URLs and had noisier delivery/availability text. |

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Amazon.com Browsing Actions is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: A real browser session; An Amazon account login for personalized grocery and cart data.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Amazon.com Browsing Actions is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 702 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.8k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 12k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
