web-animation-designGuides easing, timing and animation choices for UI motion, based on a web animation course, and reviews existing animations in a before-and-after table.
The skill answers questions about easing, duration, springs, transitions, microinteractions, animation performance and reduced-motion accessibility, drawing on Emil Kowalski's Animations on the Web course. It opens with a quick decision list: elements entering or leaving use ease-out, elements already on screen that move use ease-in-out, hover and color changes use ease, and anything users will see 100 or more times a day should not be animated at all.
It supplies named cubic-bezier easing curves for ease-out and ease-in-out, sorted from weak to strong, with the reasoning behind each use. When reviewing animations, the agent must present its findings as a single markdown table with Before and After columns and one row per issue, not as a list. If the skill is invoked with no question, it replies with one short readiness line and waits. A PRACTICAL-TIPS.md file adds further advice.
4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit e77b21c. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are css and javascript).

Web Animation Design loads about 2.7k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 220 tokens; SKILL.md has 893 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 893 words (~2,694 tokens).
“A comprehensive guide for creating animations that feel right, based on Emil Kowalski's "Animations on the Web" course.”

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Web Animation Design is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Web Animation Design has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 2.7k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 11k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
