style-extractorExtracts evidence-backed style guides and motion appendices from websites, keeping reusable visual language and stripping product-specific content.
The agent pulls a reusable design system out of web UIs: colors, typography, spacing, components, states and, when relevant, motion such as timings, keyframes and delay chains. The core principle is to keep visual language and interaction rules and drop the source product's information architecture, copy, app logic and marketing claims.
Each extraction creates its own project folder under a style-extractor directory in the user's profile, never inside the skill folder. It holds a style guide, an evidence manifest and, if motion matters, a motion guide, plus evidence subfolders for screenshots, downloaded assets and raw notes. Templates define the required sections, and two included reference packages, a visual novel site and a design system, set the quality bar.

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 10bd355. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Web Style Extractor loads about 3.8k tokens when it runs, and up to ~2.9M if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 80 tokens; SKILL.md has 1,586 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.
Without a licence we can't republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 1,586 words (~3,791 tokens).
“Extract a reusable design system from web UIs: colors, typography, spacing, components, states, and, when relevant, motion (timings, keyframes, delay chains, JS-driven behavior).”

Web Style Extractor fits situations like: capturing a website's colors, typography and spacing as semantic tokens; documenting component states and hover behavior from a live site; recording runtime animation timings and keyframes in a motion appendix; building a style reference without copying a product's content.
Run `npx skills add Lucent-Snow/style-extractor --skill style-extractor -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (the Lucent-Snow/style-extractor repository) into .claude/skills/style-extractor in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Web Style Extractor is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: A browser able to open the target site.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
No licence was found for Web Style Extractor or its repository. Without one, default copyright applies: ask the author before reusing or redistributing it.
About 3.8k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 15k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 2.9M tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
