What it does

Webshop Product Selector is an agent skill from zjunlp/SkillNet. Selects the most promising product candidate from a filtered shortlist for detailed inspection. Use when you are on a search results page with multiple viable items and need to make a final selection based on a heuristic such as best feature match or lowest price. Triggers navigation to the selected product's detail page via click[productid].

Its SKILL.md is about 630 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files, including reference files (for example `references/action_format.md`).

It sits in Sales & Support. The repository describes itself as: Create, Evaluate, and Connect AI Skills. The licence is MIT.

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit c527136. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Webshop Product Selector loads about 627 tokens when it runs, and up to ~1k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 93 tokens; SKILL.md has 292 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~93
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~627
With references · SKILL.md plus every file in references/, read only if the agent opens them
~1k

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

description
Selects the most promising product candidate from a filtered shortlist for detailed inspection. Use when you are on a search results page with multiple viable items and need to make a final selection based on a heuristic such as best feature match or lowest price. Triggers navigation to the selected product's detail page via click[product_id].

Instructions

Use this skill when you are on a search results page with multiple product options that appear to meet the user's core requirements.

Decision Process

  1. Assess the List: Review the provided observation, which contains a list of products. Each product entry typically includes a Product ID (e.g., B093C1THVP), a title, and a price.
  2. Apply Selection Heuristic: Use the bundled selector.py script to programmatically identify the best candidate. The script implements the following logic:
    • Filters products strictly under the user's specified maximum price.
    • Scores remaining products based on keyword matching in the title against the user's core requirements (e.g., "portable", "easy to carry", "double horn").
    • Selects the product with the highest score. In case of a tie, it chooses the lowest-priced item.
  3. Execute Action: The final action is always to click on the selected product's ID to navigate to its detail page for final verification and purchase. The action format is click[product_id].

Thought Process Template

Structure your reasoning before acting using this template:

Thought: [List the user's requirements, evaluate each candidate product against them, explain why the selected product is the best match.] Action: click[<product_id>]

Example

Instruction: "i need a portable double horn bluetooth speaker that is easy to carry, and price lower than 50.00 dollars"

Observation (Search Results):

  • B093C1THVP: "Portable Double Horn Bluetooth Speaker — Compact & Easy to Carry" — $32.99
  • B08XYZ1234: "Double Horn Wireless Speaker — Premium Sound" — $55.00
  • B07ABC5678: "Mini Portable Bluetooth Speaker" — $19.99

Thought: The user needs a portable, double horn bluetooth speaker that is easy to carry, under $50. B093C1THVP at $32.99 matches "portable", "double horn", and "easy to carry" — all keywords present in the title. B08XYZ1234 exceeds the $50 budget. B07ABC5678 is within budget but lacks "double horn". Selecting B093C1THVP as the best match. Action: click[B093C1THVP]
