What it does

Claim Evidence Mapper is an agent skill from XueruiSu/Paper-PRISM. Use when Codex needs to map, validate, weaken, or revise paper claims against available evidence before writing or review.

Its SKILL.md is about 410 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.

When your agent uses it

  • Codex needs to map
  • Revise paper claims against available evidence before writing

Example prompts

  • “/claim-evidence-mapper”

Workflow steps

8 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.

  1. Extract claims from the idea, draft, WritingPlan, ClozeBlueprint, LaTeX, or review issue.
  2. For each claim, identify available evidence and missing evidence.
  3. Assign status: supported, partially_supported, planned, or unsupported.
  4. Assign allowed strength: assertive, qualified, planned, or omit.
  5. Bind claim status to affected sentence slots when ClozeBlueprint.md exists.
  6. Advance sentence slot status from drafted to supported only when the sentence has adequate evidence; do not mark it verified.
  7. Update ClaimEvidenceMap.md or provide a concise equivalent.
  8. Hand risky claims to paper-writer, experiment-planner, or review-simulator.

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 13e134f. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Claim Evidence Mapper loads about 406 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 36 tokens; SKILL.md has 184 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~36
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~406

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
