curl-mdFetch web pages and docs as optimized markdown with curl.md.
Curl Md is an agent skill from wevm/curl.md. Fetch web pages and docs as optimized markdown with curl.md. Use when the user shares a URL, asks about page content, or you need to read web page or webfetch.
Its SKILL.md is about 1.2k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Documents & Office, covering Markdown. The repository describes itself as: URL to markdown for agents. The licence is MIT.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 72bab6a. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
curlnpxFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:
curl.mdFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names these keys or tokens, usually read from environment variables:
CURLMD_API_KEYFrom names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Curl Md loads about 1.2k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 42 tokens; SKILL.md has 480 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from wevm/curl.md at commit 72bab6a, republished under its MIT licence (© wevm). 480 words, ~1,204 tokens.

Use curl.md when:
Prefer these in order:
curl.md CLI or md alias when availablehttps://curl.md/<url>.md docs endpoints or Accept: text/markdownFor normal page fetches, prefer the stable top-level fetch interface (curl.md/<url> or client.fetch(...)). Avoid lower-level experimental /api routes unless the task is specifically about auth, orgs, tokens, invites, or request history.
Prefer these names in new usage:
objective — narrow output to a specific question or taskkeywords — pre-filter the page before extraction; comma-separated in HTTP/CLI stringsmode — smart or rush; only matters with objectivefresh — bypass cache and force a fresh fetchtoken — API key auth in the CLI; raw HTTP should prefer Authorization: Bearer <token>smart is the default and best for most docs lookups. Use rush when speed matters more than recall.
HTTP aliases still work (q/o, k, m, f), but prefer the full names above in new examples and instructions.
Prefer the CLI when it is installed locally. It handles auth, organization context, higher-level commands, and agent-friendly workflows.

Curl Md fits situations like: the user shares a URL; asks about page content; you need to read web page.
Run `npx skills add wevm/curl.md --skill curl-md -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (public/.well-known/skills/curl-md in wevm/curl.md) into .claude/skills/curl-md in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add wevm/curl.md --skill curl-md -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (public/.well-known/skills/curl-md in wevm/curl.md) into .agents/skills/curl-md in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add wevm/curl.md --skill curl-md -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/curl-md, .gemini/skills/curl-md, .github/skills/curl-md and .opencode/skills/curl-md in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Curl Md needs the command-line tools its instructions call (curl and npx) and credentials named CURLMD_API_KEY. Our summary lists: Node.js; A credential in CURLMD_API_KEY.
SKILL.md names 1 domain. In commands or code: curl.md; the agent is likely to contact it when it follows the instructions. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Curl Md is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 1.2k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 4.8k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
