PR Triage is an agent skill from wannabespace/conar. Speed up a GitHub PR review — sort every changed file into trivial / skim / review, mark the trivial ones as viewed on GitHub, and hand back a reading order for the rest. Use when the user shares a PR link or number and asks to pre-scan it, mark the easy files as viewed, or triage it before they review.
Its SKILL.md is about 810 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Databases, covering Pull requests and Data warehousing. It works with GitHub, ClickHouse, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL. The repository describes itself as: AI-powered tool for working with Postgres, MySQL, MSSQL and Clickhouse. The licence is AGPL-3.0.
4 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit c0e050e. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
ghjqFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use gh, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
PR Triage loads about 811 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 79 tokens; SKILL.md has 414 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from wannabespace/conar at commit c0e050e, republished under its AGPL-3.0 licence (© wannabespace). 414 words, ~811 tokens.
.claude/skills/pr-triage/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).Take the trivial files off the reviewer's plate so they only read what matters. Marking a file as viewed is the only thing this skill writes to GitHub. Never approve, comment, or request changes.
Use gh, not the browser. gh pr view --json files stops at 100 files, so page through the REST endpoint:
gh pr view <n> -R <owner/repo> --json id,title,headRefOid
gh api --paginate repos/<owner/repo>/pulls/<n>/files > files.json # save to the scratchpad
jq -s 'add | length' files.jsonEach entry has filename, previous_filename, status, additions, deletions and patch. Read the patches with jq -s -r 'add[] | select(...)', smallest first. Large files don't need their patches read, because they are never trivial.
Trivial: mark as viewed. Every hunk has to be one of these, and nothing else can change behavior or a contract:
status: renamed with an empty patch), or an import path that follows a moveuseMemo removedexport without changing the local itselfSkim: leave unmarked, list it. Small but real changes:
package.json, the workspace catalog, or env files.types outputReview: leave unmarked, put it in the reading order. Anything else, including:
If you're unsure, the file is not trivial. A wrongly marked file hides code from the reviewer. A wrongly unmarked one costs a few seconds.
gh api graphql -f query='mutation($id:ID!,$p:String!){markFileAsViewed(input:{pullRequestId:$id,path:$p}){clientMutationId}}' \
-f id=<PR node id> -f p="<path>"Loop over the trivial paths, using double quotes because paths may contain $. Echo each path that succeeds. If the viewer has already marked a file, marking it again does nothing.
Keep the report short:
core/ and state, then modules, routes and UI), each with a one-line summary of what changed. Put a moved file next to its old path.Ask before marking anything outside the trivial list, e.g. a lockfile.

PR Triage fits situations like: the user shares a PR link; number and asks to pre-scan it; mark the easy files as viewed; triage it before they review.
Run `npx skills add wannabespace/conar --skill pr-triage -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/pr-triage in wannabespace/conar) into .claude/skills/pr-triage in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add wannabespace/conar --skill pr-triage -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/pr-triage, .gemini/skills/pr-triage, .github/skills/pr-triage and .opencode/skills/pr-triage in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, PR Triage needs the command-line tools its instructions call (gh and jq).
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Its commands use gh, which can reach the network depending on how they are called. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
PR Triage is published under the AGPL-3.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 811 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.2k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
