What it does

Cocoon Chainsmith is an agent skill from VKirill/claude-lane-stack. DrMax COCOON CHAINSMITH v3 — fills 9 YAML vars and emits a verified CP-Navigator command sequence for Cocoon Engine X4. Does not run research. Use when: Chainsmith, связка команд, пошаговый план кокона, сгенерируй команды X4, маршрут /исследование. SKIP: executing the cocoon (→drmax-cocoon-engine-x4 / cocoon-pilot); one-query intent (→drmax-latent-intent); live URL experiment (→drmax-signalforge).

Its SKILL.md is about 510 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files (for example `ORIGINAL.md` and `SOURCE.md`).

The repository describes itself as: Multi-agent AI coding factory for one person — Claude Code PM + Codex/Qwen/Grok/Kimi/AGY writers, durable conveyor, auto-merge to main. The licence is MIT.

When your agent uses it

  • Пошаговый план кокона
  • Сгенерируй команды X4
  • Маршрут /исследование

Workflow steps

5 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.

  1. Attach / open the four Cocoon Engine X4 skills before generating
  2. Apply 1:1: ORIGINAL.md
  3. Fill only the nine variables (GEO, LANGUAGE, SITE_THEME, SITE_URL,
  4. If GEO, LANGUAGE, SITE_THEME, or TASK_TYPE are missing and cannot
  5. Output the command chain. Do not execute it unless the user then asks

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit ad5d501. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Cocoon Chainsmith loads about 508 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 105 tokens; SKILL.md has 187 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~105
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~508

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

COCOON CHAINSMITH v3

Official DrMax meta-prompt. It plans the X4 command chain. It does not run Reddit Mapper, TGA, GIST, or any live research.

When

  • Need a ready, checked sequence of CP-Navigator commands for a real task
  • Minimal intake: the nine YAML variables in ORIGINAL.md
  • Replaces local adaptations such as the removed drmax-research-playbook

Protocol

  1. Attach / open the four Cocoon Engine X4 skills before generating: cocoon-pilot (CP-Navigator), reddit-mapper, topical-graph-architect, gist-content-logic — or the bundled drmax-cocoon-engine-x4. Without them the generator cannot verify commands.
  2. Apply 1:1: ORIGINAL.md
  3. Fill only the nine variables (GEO, LANGUAGE, SITE_THEME, SITE_URL, TASK_TYPE, TASK_DESCRIPTION, MODE, DEPTH, BRANCHING). Extra constraints go in TASK_DESCRIPTION, not as new fields.
  4. If GEO, LANGUAGE, SITE_THEME, or TASK_TYPE are missing and cannot be taken from the current brief, ask once — then generate.
  5. Output the command chain. Do not execute it unless the user then asks to run X4. Hand off execution to drmax-cocoon-engine-x4 / cocoon-pilot.

Place in pipeline

brief → Chainsmith (this skill) → X4 execution → optional Humanization

Do not mix this planning pass with a live-URL SignalForge job.

  • drmax-cocoon-engine-x4 / cocoon-pilot — execute the generated commands
  • drmax-latent-intent — one query, no chain
  • drmax-signalforge — one published URL, not a new cocoon
