Plantuml Syntax is an agent skill from tractorjuice/arc-kit. PlantUML syntax reference, C4-PlantUML first, for writing or fixing a diagram in an artefact: sequence, class, activity, state, ER, component, deployment and use-case diagrams, skinparams and themes, C4 layout conflicts and rendering errors. Not needed for Mermaid (mermaid-syntax), or when the request is for a governed diagram artefact with document control, which /arckit:diagram produces.
Its SKILL.md is about 1.3k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 12 other files, including reference files (for example `references/activity-diagrams.md`, `references/c4-plantuml.md` and `references/class-diagrams.md`).
It sits in Development, covering Diagrams. It works with Mermaid and Model Context Protocol. The repository describes itself as: The Enterprise Architecture Governance Harness — strategy, architecture, delivery, and assurance using AI coding assistants.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 6d5ad01. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves these tools, so the agent can use them without asking each time:
Read(/${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/**)From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:
raw.githubusercontent.comAlso links to:
github.comFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Plantuml Syntax loads about 1.3k tokens when it runs, and up to ~17k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 102 tokens; SKILL.md has 483 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 483 words (~1,331 tokens).
“A comprehensive reference for PlantUML diagram types with a focus on C4-PlantUML for architecture diagrams. This skill provides syntax documentation adapted from the SpillwaveSolutions/plantuml project, supplemented with ArcKit-specific C4 layout conflict rules and best practices.”

Plantuml Syntax is an agent skill from tractorjuice/arc-kit. Plantuml Syntax fits situations like: tasks that involve Diagrams.
Run `npx skills add tractorjuice/arc-kit --skill plantuml-syntax -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (plugins/arckit-claude/skills/plantuml-syntax in tractorjuice/arc-kit) into .claude/skills/plantuml-syntax in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add tractorjuice/arc-kit --skill plantuml-syntax -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (plugins/arckit-claude/skills/plantuml-syntax in tractorjuice/arc-kit) into .agents/skills/plantuml-syntax in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add tractorjuice/arc-kit --skill plantuml-syntax -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/plantuml-syntax, .gemini/skills/plantuml-syntax, .github/skills/plantuml-syntax and .opencode/skills/plantuml-syntax in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Plantuml Syntax is instructions for the agent only. Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Read(/${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/**).
SKILL.md names 2 domains. In commands or code: raw.githubusercontent.com; the agent is likely to contact it when it follows the instructions. As links in the text: github.com. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Plantuml Syntax has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 1.3k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 5.3k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 15k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
