tendem-taskExplicitly submit a new task to Tendem (hybrid AI + human experts) and drive it through scoping.
Tendem Task is an agent skill from Toloka/tendem-mcp. Explicitly submit a new task to Tendem (hybrid AI + human experts) and drive it through scoping. Invoke as $tendem-task <what you want a human expert to do.
Its SKILL.md is about 480 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files (for example `agents/openai.yaml`).
It works with OpenAI. The repository describes itself as: Home for Human In The Loop Tendem plugin for your agent. The licence is MIT.
4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 683885a. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

Tendem Task loads about 475 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 42 tokens; SKILL.md has 235 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Follow the tendem-tasks skill. Fidelity first:
create_task now — description is the user's instruction,
passed as faithfully as possible. Add only context the user actually stated
(input files by name, a deadline if one was given). Do NOT expand it into a
synthesized brief, and do NOT pre-ask the user clarifying questions —
scoping is Tendem's job. Derive a short name (≤120 chars) and reuse a
stable conversation_id for this conversation.get_file_upload_url,
build fully-substituted curl upload commands per the tendem-tasks
skill's references/files.md, and hand them to the user to run on their
host machine — telling them the manual step is due to OpenAI's sandbox
policy. After the user confirms, send the naming send_message.get_task(task_id, wait_for_change_seconds=30),
answer Tendem's questions from conversation context via send_message,
escalate to the user only when the answer isn't in context or
scope/deliverables/deadline are at stake.next_action=await_user_approval): call
get_contract(task_id) for the full scope + price, show the user both, and
wait for their explicit go-ahead before approve_task.Report the task_id in your reply so it can be referenced later.

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Tendem Task is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.

About 475 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 1.9k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
