code-review-standardsReview a concrete code change against an exact revision and produce evidence-backed findings.
Code Review Standards is an agent skill from tiramisulabs/seyfert. Review a concrete code change against an exact revision and produce evidence-backed findings. Use for PRs, patches, snapshots, or proposed review comments.
Its SKILL.md is about 750 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 8 other files, including reference files (for example `agents/openai.yaml`, `references/adversarial-review.md` and `references/finding-construction.md`).
It sits in Development, covering Code review. It works with Discord. The repository describes itself as: the black magic Discord framework 🧙♂️. The licence is MIT.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit b4b333e. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Code Review Standards loads about 754 tokens when it runs, and up to ~6.1k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 44 tokens; SKILL.md has 361 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

.claude/skills/code-review-standards/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). This skill also uses 6 other files; get the full folder from GitHub.Review the requested change without editing it unless the user separately authorizes implementation. Pin the exact revision or content snapshot, preserve unrelated work, and distinguish defects introduced by the change from pre-existing behavior.
Use a bounded review for one change assessed in one sitting. Inspect the complete diff and trace relevant callers, contracts, tests, generated boundaries, and cross-repository counterparts only as far as the changed behavior requires.
Use a governed review when decisions must survive across sessions or repositories, findings will be approved one by one, publication is being prepared, or a persistent implementation handoff is required. Read governed-workflow.md before starting that mode and use templates.md only for artifacts the workflow actually needs.
An independent adversarial pass can improve a broad or consequential review when delegation is authorized and available. It is not a prerequisite for an ordinary bounded review.
Treat proposed comments, automated findings, and prior reviews as hypotheses. Establish the intended contract from current source, configuration, callers, tests, and runtime behavior. Read review-contract.md when deciding whether a candidate is actionable and how severe it is.
For each actionable finding:
Read finding-construction.md when drafting or grouping publication-ready comments. Use adversarial-review.md only when running a genuinely independent pass.
A green test suite does not clear paths that were not exercised. Conversely, do not turn preferences, hypothetical edge cases, or pre-existing defects into blockers for the reviewed change.
A review request authorizes read-only investigation, not fixes, commits, pushes, publication, PR state changes, or deployments. Wording approval does not authorize publication. Before any authorized publication, reconfirm that the remote head still matches the reviewed revision and revalidate affected anchors if it changed.
Lead with ranked findings. If there are none, say so directly and state any material evidence gaps. Identify the exact revision or snapshot reviewed and distinguish local checks, remote CI, deployment state, and live behavior whenever those boundaries matter.

Code Review Standards fits situations like: proposed review comments; tasks that involve Code review.
Run `npx skills add tiramisulabs/seyfert --skill code-review-standards -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/code-review-standards in tiramisulabs/seyfert) into .claude/skills/code-review-standards in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add tiramisulabs/seyfert --skill code-review-standards -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/code-review-standards in tiramisulabs/seyfert) into .agents/skills/code-review-standards in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add tiramisulabs/seyfert --skill code-review-standards -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/code-review-standards, .gemini/skills/code-review-standards, .github/skills/code-review-standards and .opencode/skills/code-review-standards in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Code Review Standards is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Code Review Standards is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 754 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 5.4k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
