At a glance

Adds short, pointed workplace reminders drawn from two Chinese essays on corporate culture, nudging the agent to prove results with evidence instead of polished reports.

  • Works in 3 steps: skills/ding/references/methodology-ding.m… → skills/ding/references/ding-reminders.md… → skills/pua/references/display-protocol.md…
  • Pushing an agent to back a 'done' claim with test output or screenshots
  • Instructions only: no scripts, shell commands, URLs or credentials in SKILL.md

What it does

The SKILL.md is in Chinese. It sets a style for the agent based on the essays 《置身钉内》 and 《置身钉外》, using their imagery to remind you that a status report is not delivery. On load the agent reads a methodology file with seven execution rules and a scenario router, a library of 25 reminders grouped by theme (acceptance and evidence, weekly reports, meetings, the boss's impressions against user experience, monitoring, overtime, reflection), and a display protocol used only for complex tasks.

A simple reminder is one markdown blockquote that names its source essay and ties an image from the text to a concrete action. For complex tasks the agent adds a block with the goal, the acceptance evidence and the next step. A routing table maps phrases such as a boss saying it looks fine, a polished weekly report or an 'I'm done' claim to an action, for example running the core user path or the tests and pasting the output. Saying 'set as default' stores the style in `~/.pua/config.json`; otherwise it applies to the current reply only.

When your agent uses it

  • Pushing an agent to back a 'done' claim with test output or screenshots
  • Reviewing a status report that sounds good but shows no evidence
  • Working on delivery tasks where process steps and real results diverge

Example prompts

  • “Use the Ding style and remind me what real acceptance looks like for this release.”
  • “My weekly report looks great but nobody ran the checkout flow. What should I do first?”
  • “Set the Ding flavor as my default.”

Requirements

  • The bundled reference files, plus display-protocol.md from the sibling pua skill

Workflow steps

3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.

  1. skills/ding/references/methodology-ding.md —
  3. skills/pua/references/display-protocol.md — 复杂任务需要面板时的 Unicode 方框表格格式(仅在复杂任务时读取)

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit e6e6cd2. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Ding Workplace Reminders loads about 556 tokens when it runs, and up to ~3.1k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 96 tokens; SKILL.md has 103 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~96
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~556
With references · SKILL.md plus every file in references/, read only if the agent opens them
~3.1k

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Agent

  1. skills/ding/references/methodology-ding.md —
  3. skills/pua/references/display-protocol.md — 复杂任务需要面板时的 Unicode 方框表格格式(仅在复杂任务时读取)

text

text
状态:candidate / needs_check / done_with_evidence

text
