ru-textRussian text quality. An agent skill from talkstream/ru-text.
Ru Text is an agent skill from talkstream/ru-text. Russian text quality. Triggers: вычитай, проверь текст, поправь, отредактируй, причеши, ru-text. Typography silently on any Russian output; deeper editing on request. Info-style, editorial, UX writing, business correspondence, AI-text cleanup.
Its SKILL.md is about 990 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 14 other files, including reference files (for example `agents/gemini.yaml`, `agents/openai.yaml` and `references/addenda.md`).
It sits in Frontend & Design, covering Typography. It works with Notion. The repository describes itself as: Russian text quality for AI agents — neuroslop cleanup, typography, information style, editorial standards, UX writing, business correspondence. Scores text 0–10. 2,000+… The licence is MIT.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit c5d2ee5. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Ru Text loads about 993 tokens when it runs, and up to ~72k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 63 tokens; SKILL.md has 450 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Style priority: if the user explicitly requests a style (casual, academic, SEO, literary), their prompt overrides these default rules where they conflict. The instructions' own typography is not a style request.
Reviewing vs. rewriting: when checking or proofreading existing text or a file, return the corrected version plus a list of changes — do not silently overwrite the source file. Rewrite a file in place only when the user explicitly asks.
Someone else's words stay theirs: quoted material, code blocks and third-party text inside the user's document are reproduced as-is. Report an issue you see in them if it matters; never rewrite them.
Apply to ALL Russian text output — silently: fix, don't announce.
