fleet-helperShared, dependency-free Python helpers for the agent fleet - dashboard API (memory, messages, kanban), Telegram MarkdownV2 escaping, and rule-based Mail.app triage.
Fleet Helper is an agent skill from Szotasz/marveen. Shared, dependency-free Python helpers for the agent fleet - dashboard API (memory, messages, kanban), Telegram MarkdownV2 escaping, and rule-based Mail.app triage. Use to do deterministic work (fetch/filter/SQL/format/escape) in Python instead of burning model tokens doing it in the LLM turn. The dashboard token is read from store/.dashboard-token at call time, never hardcoded.
Its SKILL.md is about 1.7k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 7 other files, including scripts (for example `scripts/README.md`, `scripts/fleet.py` and `scripts/gate_example.py`).
It sits in Productivity & Automation, covering Task management and SQL. It works with Python, SQL and Telegram. The repository describes itself as: AI csapatod, ami fut amíg te alszol. The licence is MIT.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit e1ac6cc. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Ships 6 files in scripts/ (Python), which the agent can run.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
python3From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Fleet Helper loads about 1.7k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 99 tokens; SKILL.md has 813 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.
The full file from Szotasz/marveen at commit e1ac6cc, republished under its MIT licence (© Szotasz). 813 words, ~1,685 tokens.
.claude/skills/fleet-helper/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). This skill also uses 6 other files; get the full folder from GitHub.Move deterministic work (fetch / filter / SQL / format / escape) out of the model and into Python, so heartbeats and scheduled tasks stop spending tokens re-deriving the same plumbing each cycle. Python 3 stdlib only, no pip deps.
No secrets or personal data are baked in: the dashboard token is read from
store/.dashboard-token at call time, the project root comes from CLAW_DIR
(or is auto-detected), and any personal sender/keyword lists live in a gitignored
mail_rules.json (see scripts/mail_rules.example.json).

CWD is your own agent directory (<project-root>/agents/<name>/), NOT the
repo root, so a bare relative path below resolves to nothing there. A
sub-agent's CWD is always exactly two levels under the project root
(agentDir() in src/web/agent-config.ts: PROJECT_ROOT/agents/<name>), so
../../ reaches the root from ANY agent, on ANY machine -- no hardcoded
absolute path needed. ($CLAUDE_PROJECT_DIR, used elsewhere for hook
command fields, does NOT help here: it is unset in a normal agent Bash
call, measured empty.) (Bitten twice in one night, 2026-08-17: two fleet
agents each ran a root-level find / -iname fleet.py trying to locate this
script -- a 10+ minute runaway search under macOS/iCloud folders.)

STAYS THE PATH. Its roster is a literal, though, so on an install whose agents are
not in it every --author is refused. These three carry no roster: they send what
the dashboard accepts, and they check nothing the gated tool checks.

route writes it on the status-change audit event. A missing argument is a usage
error (exit 2) and nothing is sent.kanban-set writes ONE field per call: title, description, status, assignee,
priority, project, parent_id, due_date, sort_order, archived_at. Any other field
is a 400 naming the accepted ones, and the card is not touched. It is the only
shipped way to due_date, project, parent_id and sort_order.json.dumps from the arguments, so backticks and $(...)
in a comment are text, never shell.Frequent heartbeats often wake the model just to run deterministic checks and
then stay silent - wasted tokens. Naively skipping the turn can be unsafe if your
channel transport (e.g. a Telegram MCP over a stdio pipe) relies on a periodic
local tool call to stay connected. The safe pattern: keep the turn but make it
cheap - the heartbeat's first action runs a gate.py via the shell (that one
Bash call IS the keep-alive), the gate does the deterministic checks and prints a
has_signal flag; on false the model writes one line and stops, on true it
only does the judgment + notification. Zero scheduler/runner changes. See
scripts/README.md for the full rationale and two hard-won scheduling lessons
(avoid cron collisions with other heartbeats; skipIfBusy trade-off).

Shared, dependency-free Python helpers for the agent fleet - dashboard API (memory, messages, kanban), Telegram MarkdownV2 escaping, and rule-based Mail.app triage. Fleet Helper is an agent skill from Szotasz/marveen.app triage.
Fleet Helper fits situations like: do deterministic work (fetch/filter/SQL/format/escape) in Python instead of burning model tokens doing it in the LLM turn; tasks that involve Task management; tasks that involve SQL.
Run `npx skills add Szotasz/marveen --skill fleet-helper -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (seed-skills/fleet-helper in Szotasz/marveen) into .claude/skills/fleet-helper in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add Szotasz/marveen --skill fleet-helper -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (seed-skills/fleet-helper in Szotasz/marveen) into .agents/skills/fleet-helper in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add Szotasz/marveen --skill fleet-helper -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/fleet-helper, .gemini/skills/fleet-helper, .github/skills/fleet-helper and .opencode/skills/fleet-helper in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Fleet Helper needs Python for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (python3). Our summary lists: Python 3.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
Fleet Helper is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 1.7k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 6.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
Skills that share tags, products or a category with Fleet Helper: Chdb SQL (vemetric/vemetric, 395 stars), Kolo (koloai/kolo, 525 stars), Coding Agent (mastra-ai/mastra, 29k stars) and SQL Schema Policy Validator (rominirani/antigravity-skills, 592 stars). The comparison table on this page puts their stars, adoption, token cost, safety result and licence side by side.
