Accelevents API is an agent skill from swyxio/skills. Use when reading or updating AI Engineer Europe speaker records through the Accelevents REST API, especially for full-record PUT updates, auth header quirks, and preserving existing speaker fields.
Its SKILL.md is about 820 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Backend & APIs, covering REST APIs. It works with LinkedIn and X (Twitter). The repository describes itself as: Agent skills for Claude Code and other AI agents. The licence is MIT.
3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 038ef34. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
python3pnpmFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:
api.accelevents.comFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names these keys or tokens, usually read from environment variables:
ACCELEVENTS_API_KEYFrom names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Accelevents API loads about 822 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 53 tokens; SKILL.md has 340 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from swyxio/skills at commit 038ef34, republished under its MIT licence (© swyxio). 340 words, ~822 tokens.

The sync script (src/pages/europe/source/_scripts/sync_accelevents.py) pulls data FROM Accelevents. But schedule.json may have richer data (from prior scraping) that Accelevents lacks. The correct workflow is:
This ensures both systems have the superset of all known data.
The Accelevents portal has a UI bug where company fields get overwritten with single characters (e.g., "i", "d", "N"). This appears to be a keystroke capture issue in the portal UI. The sync script has a safeguard that rejects single-character company values and logs a [WARN].

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Accelevents API needs the command-line tools its instructions call (python3 and pnpm) and credentials named ACCELEVENTS_API_KEY. Our summary lists: Python 3; A credential in ACCELEVENTS_API_KEY.
SKILL.md names 1 domain. In commands or code: api.accelevents.com; the agent is likely to contact it when it follows the instructions. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Accelevents API is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 822 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.3k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
