What it does

Mobile Resume is an agent skill from suntay44/web-to-mobile-magic-plugin. Resume an unfinished mobile app from an existing plan or audit and plan its completion. Build Expo React Native apps; hand Swift implementation to a native workflow.

Its SKILL.md is about 480 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.

It sits in Mobile, covering Cross-platform mobile apps and iOS development. It works with Expo and React Native. The repository describes itself as: Website to React Native mobile app Plugin. Audit, Plan, QA scan, and deep review. Plan-first, approval-gated and Token Efficient. The licence is MIT.

When your agent uses it

  • Tasks that involve Cross-platform mobile apps
  • Tasks that involve iOS development

Example prompts

  • “/mobile-resume”

Workflow steps

4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.

  1. mobile-app-audit records completion status and evidence.
  2. mobile-completion-plan writes docs/mobile-resume/YYYY-MM-DD-mobile-completion-plan.md.
  3. After approval, expo-react-native-build implements unchecked items for Expo/React
  4. mobile-qa-release verifies implementation before completion.

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit e6eb780. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:

    • github.com

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Mobile Resume loads about 483 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 45 tokens; SKILL.md has 226 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~45
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~483

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Route The Workflow

First look for a plan matching the target and requested work under docs/mobile-resume/ or docs/web-to-mobile/. Check Source, status/approval, unchecked items, and relevant changes since its recorded evidence; do not choose by date alone. For a usable plan, refresh only stale findings, preserve completed items, and continue its next phase. Missing approval returns to planning; changed scope needs approval. If matching or freshness cannot be established, audit first. Never infer approval from checkboxes.

Otherwise use one phase skill at a time:

  1. mobile-app-audit records completion status and evidence.
  2. mobile-completion-plan writes docs/mobile-resume/YYYY-MM-DD-mobile-completion-plan.md.
  3. After approval, expo-react-native-build implements unchecked items for Expo/React Native. Hand Swift plans to the existing native workflow; never invoke the Expo builder.
  4. mobile-qa-release verifies implementation before completion.

Do not generate or edit app code until a plan exists and the user approved it.

Target Classification

  • No argument: use the current workspace as the mobile app source.
  • https://github.com/<owner>/<repo>: clone or inspect the repo if permitted; otherwise ask for a local checkout.
  • Local path: inspect files directly.

Stack

Continue in the audited stack unless the user explicitly requests a switch.

Output Rules

  • Use the Markdown plan as external memory and the source of truth.
  • Re-read only the relevant plan sections for each phase.
  • Reference actual files, screens, navigators, dependencies, and commands.
