What it does

Gui Changes is an agent skill from sorryhyun/anima_lora. Recipes for common changes to the PySide6 GUI — adding a training field, variant, or language; changing job submission; composing a new job-submitting tab; and the action-button/theming rules. Load before making one of these changes under gui/.

Its SKILL.md is about 590 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.

It sits in Frontend & Design, covering Theming and dark mode. The repository describes itself as: optimized anima lora training script. The licence is MIT.

Example prompts

  • “Use the gui-changes skill to recipe for common changes to the PySide6 GUI — adding a training field, variant, or language; changing job submission…”
  • “/gui-changes”

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit d3a5fc4. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Gui Changes loads about 590 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 64 tokens; SKILL.md has 209 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~64
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~590

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

GUI common-change recipes

Architecture these plug into: gui/CLAUDE.md.

  • New training field: add the TOML key → it surfaces in ConfigTab via _widget() auto-mapping (check _SKIP/_BASIC placement) → add a tooltip to guides/en/_fields.json and replicate to ko/ja/cn.
  • New variant: drop configs/gui-methods/<name>.toml with a [variant] family="…" block — auto-discovered.
  • New language: gui/i18n/<code>.py with STRINGS, register in TRANSLATIONS, add guides/<code>/ files.
  • Change job submission: ConfigTab._start_training and PreprocessingTab._submit (the helper its _run_* handlers call) — both go through daemon.submit_training / submit_command, wrapped by DaemonJobMixin._submit_job (pass the submit call as a lambda + an on_fail rollback).
  • New job-submitting / config-editing tab: compose DaemonJobMixin + DirtyTrackingMixin rather than hand-rolling. Call _init_job_observer() in __init__, set self._dirty, provide _on_job_finished(state), and override _emit_log_line only if your log sink isn't appendPlainText. The Save button's dirty look is the mixin's default "warning" variant — override _save_btn_dirty_variant only to change it.
  • A colored action button: colors live in one table — theme.ACTION_COLORS (saturated primary/secondary/info/success/danger/warning/busy) and theme.NAV_COLORS (muted top-bar toggles); never inline setStyleSheet colors. Build with widgets.action_button(text, variant=…, tooltip=…, on_click=…); flip state (idle↔busy) with widgets.apply_variant(btn, variant_or_None) (sets a dynamic property
    • repolishes — the global stylesheet [variant="…"] rules do the painting, incl. hover/pressed/disabled). Split buttons (SplitButtonStyle) must use a per-widget stylesheet instead — setStyleSheet(theme.action_button_qss(variant)) — because a global stylesheet bypasses the proxy style and miscentres the menu label. Spacing magic numbers have tokens too: theme.Pad / theme.Gap.
