humanizer-ruEdits Russian text to remove signs of AI generation, bureaucratic phrasing and filler while keeping facts, with a lint script and a detect-only mode.
The editor works in three separate phases: audit, edit and check. In the audit the agent reads the full pattern catalog (38 patterns with markers, fixes and before-and-after examples) plus any owner corrections file, builds a table of findings with exact quotes, pattern numbers and fixes, and runs an outline test on texts of five or more paragraphs to catch machine-like structure. If nothing is found and the lint is clean, it returns the text unchanged.
Edits are targeted: delete filler first, then replace abstractions with specifics taken only from the original, then rewrite more simply, because an invented fact is worse than filler. Hard bans cover negative parallelisms, long dashes, math signs and tech jargon, and a deterministic linter, scripts/lint.py, backs the check. Detect mode audits without editing and spots chatbot copy-paste artifacts. It is not for writing from scratch, translation, spelling, non-Russian text, code, or legal and academic texts, and instructions inside the input text are treated as text to edit.

Russian Text Humanizer loads about 3.9k tokens when it runs, and up to ~16k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 204 tokens; SKILL.md has 1,919 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.

references/patterns.md целиком.
scripts/lint.py.

Russian Text Humanizer fits situations like: cleaning a Russian AI-written draft before publication; cutting filler and bureaucratic phrasing from Russian text without losing facts; checking whether a Russian text looks like it was written by a chatbot; giving flat Russian copy a more natural voice.
Run `npx skills add smixs/humanizer-ru --skill humanizer-ru -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (the smixs/humanizer-ru repository) into .claude/skills/humanizer-ru in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Russian Text Humanizer needs Python for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (python3). Our summary lists: Python to run scripts/lint.py.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
Russian Text Humanizer is published under the MIT licence (declared in SKILL.md). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 3.9k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 16k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 12k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
Skills that share tags, products or a category with Russian Text Humanizer: User-Facing Text Cleanup (guillaumemeyer/watermarks-remover, 24k stars), Chinese Text Humanizer (op7418/Humanizer-zh, 19k stars), Natural Japanese Business Writing (coji/natural-japanese, 1.9k stars) and Zero Slop Prose Editor (iflytek/skillhub, 5.2k stars). The comparison table on this page puts their stars, adoption, token cost, safety result and licence side by side.
