artifactsPersist, version, and iterate on LLM-generated UI (widgets, HTML, markdown).
Artifacts is an agent skill from Sidiora-Labs/centra-gideon-agent. Persist, version, and iterate on LLM-generated UI (widgets, HTML, markdown). Load when the user wants to save, find, update, or iterate on a previously-rendered widget — anything that should outlive the chat scrollback.
Its SKILL.md is about 1.2k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
The repository describes itself as: The companion AI agent that learns, adapts and gets the work done no matter the task. The licence is Apache-2.0.
4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 2176d5b. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Artifacts loads about 1.2k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 57 tokens; SKILL.md has 559 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from Sidiora-Labs/centra-gideon-agent at commit 2176d5b, republished under its Apache-2.0 licence (© Sidiora-Labs). 559 words, ~1,182 tokens.
.claude/skills/artifacts/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).@gideon-core/artifact_*)An Artifact is a named, versioned piece of generated content — a widget,
HTML tool, dashboard, markdown doc, SVG, or JSON — that persists beyond the chat
scrollback and can be reopened and iterated on by name in a later session. The
Artifacts library lists them; each lives at /artifacts/<slug> in the dashboard.
Without artifacts, a widget you render scrolls away and is gone. With them, the user can say "iterate on that dashboard" three days later and you can fetch the current version, change it, and save a new checkpoint.

artifact_list | List saved artifacts (name/slug/kind/version/tags). Filter by tag, kind, or text q. |
artifact_save | Save new content. Returns the slug — the handle for later. |
artifact_get | Fetch content by slug (pass version=N for a historical snapshot; omit for live). |
artifact_update | Update by slug → new version snapshot. New content, or metadata only. |
artifact_versions | List the numbered snapshots of a slug. |
artifact_delete | Delete an artifact + its history by slug (does not touch any source file). |
artifact_save/artifact_update take content inline via content= or from a

Always artifact_list before artifact_save(kind="widget"). Check
whether a matching widget already exists. If it does, artifact_update it
instead of creating a near-duplicate.
Re-emitting a saved widget requires its slug. When you render the HTML of
a saved artifact again in chat, put its slug on the tag so the dashboard links
the rendered widget back to the library entry:

With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add Sidiora-Labs/centra-gideon-agent --skill artifacts -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/artifacts, .gemini/skills/artifacts, .github/skills/artifacts and .opencode/skills/artifacts in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Artifacts is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Artifacts is published under the Apache-2.0 licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 1.2k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 4.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
