documentationDefines README, website-guide, and agent-instruction structure, audience, prose formatting, and voice for nestia.
Documentation is an agent skill from samchon/nestia. Defines README, website-guide, and agent-instruction structure, audience, prose formatting, and voice for nestia. Use before writing, modifying, renaming, or moving repository documentation.
Its SKILL.md is about 1.7k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Backend & APIs, covering Agent instruction files and Technical documentation. It works with OpenAPI. The repository describes itself as: NestJS Helper + AI Chatbot Development. The licence is MIT.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit d3627e8. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
pnpmFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Documentation loads about 1.7k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 51 tokens; SKILL.md has 907 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from samchon/nestia at commit d3627e8, republished under its MIT licence (© samchon). 907 words, ~1,676 tokens.
.claude/skills/documentation/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).README.md at the repository root is the single hand-maintained README. The root package:prepare script builds every package and then runs deploy/copy-readme.cjs once, which copies it into all eight packages/* directories; every package:latest, package:next, package:rc, and package:tgz run starts with that step, so published tarballs always ship it, including in CI. .gitignore excludes packages/*/README.md so no package carries a tracked copy. Never hand-write a package README expecting it to survive: edit the root README instead, and let the packaging step distribute it.
Because one file serves every package, keep it oriented to the reader arriving at any one of them: what nestia is, the feature list per package, installation, the smallest working setup, and links onward to the guides. Move deep explanations into the website guides rather than growing the README to cover them.
User-facing guides live under website/src/content/docs/** as MDX and publish at https://nestia.io/docs. The site runs Nextra 4 on Next.js with output: "export", and deploys the static website/out tree to the gh-pages branch. Keep one audience and one task per page.
The tree is organized by the surface a reader is working with:
index.mdx and setup.mdx cover introduction and installation;core/ owns one page per decorator (TypedRoute, TypedBody, TypedParam, TypedQuery, TypedFormData, TypedHeaders, TypedException, PlainBody, SwaggerExample, SwaggerCustomizer, WebSocketRoute, McpRoute);sdk/ covers SDK generation, distribution, monorepo layout, generated e2e, and the mockup simulator;swagger/ covers the Swagger document, its editor and chat surfaces, and generation strategy;e2e/ covers why generated e2e exists, how to develop against it, and benchmarking. The site carries no beginner walkthrough at present. A ten-step tutorial once sat at website/src/content/tutorial/** and published at https://nestia.io/tutorial, but it shipped unfinished and was withdrawn; the restoration is pending in its own pull request. Do not reintroduce /tutorial links into docs/** until that work lands.
Every docs folder and src/content/ itself carries a _meta.ts that Nextra reads in declaration order for sidebar order and labels. Two of them — src/content/_meta.ts and src/content/docs/_meta.ts — use the typed satisfies MetaRecord form; the four per-feature folders use the plain default-exported object. Beyond ordering, those meta files carry type: "page" | "menu" | "separator" for navigation structure, display: "hidden" to keep a page reachable while removing it from the sidebar, and href to point an entry at a different target — mostly internal routes such as /api, /blog, and /editor, and occasionally an external URL. Update the matching _meta.ts whenever a guide is added, renamed, moved, hidden, or exposed.
When emitted code is the point, pair the TypeScript source with the generated SDK, Swagger, or e2e output in side-by-side tabs so the reader sees what the transform produces. Back performance claims with a specific benchmark/results/** figure instead of an adjective.
Building the website is not a plain next build. Follow the prerequisites in .agents/skills/development/SKILL.md: the site depends on ../deploy/tarballs/editor.tgz and ../deploy/tarballs/migrate.tgz, so root pnpm run package:tgz must run first, and prebuild additionally rebuilds @nestia/migrate and @nestia/editor and runs TypeDoc over five packages into website/public/api.
AGENTS.md and SKILL.md files are operational documents for humans and agents. Keep only the product-wide contract in AGENTS.md, the always-applicable procedure in SKILL.md, and conditional detail in a linked sibling document.
Concise and clear means:
Write each Markdown or MDX paragraph on one source line. Never hard-wrap a single paragraph at a fixed column: Markdown already soft-wraps it, while manual wrapping makes small edits reflow unrelated lines.
One source line does not mean one long paragraph. Insert a blank line whenever the idea changes. Keep structural line breaks for paragraphs, list items, headings, tables, and fenced code.
Preserve one-line paragraphs yourself; this is a manual convention, not a formatter gate. prettier.config.js sets parser: "typescript" and leaves proseWrap unset, and root pnpm format targets only *.ts, so no *.md or *.mdx file is ever reformatted.
crate-ci/typos does gate spelling on every pull request through typos.toml. Add a genuine new term to [default.extend-words] rather than reshaping prose around the checker.
Write in the plain, direct, technical voice of the human-authored nestia docs. Do not write like an AI assistant.
_meta.ts and the callout blocks in the root README are part of the existing navigation voice. Keep them where they already fit; this exception does not turn guide prose into decorative copy.© samchon, MIT. Rendered from Markdown: HTML in the file is shown as text, images as links, and headings moved down two levels. Raw file

Documentation fits situations like: tasks that involve Agent instruction files; tasks that involve Technical documentation.
Run `npx skills add samchon/nestia --skill documentation -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/documentation in samchon/nestia) into .claude/skills/documentation in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add samchon/nestia --skill documentation -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (.agents/skills/documentation in samchon/nestia) into .agents/skills/documentation in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add samchon/nestia --skill documentation -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/documentation, .gemini/skills/documentation, .github/skills/documentation and .opencode/skills/documentation in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Documentation needs the command-line tools its instructions call (pnpm).
SKILL.md names 1 domain. As links in the text: nestia.io. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.

About 1.7k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 6.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
