resilience-retryA skill your agent uses when adding retries, backoff, or concurrency limits to Spring Boot 4 / Spring Framework 7 code with core Retryable and ConcurrencyLimit support.
Resilience Retry is an agent skill from rrezartprebreza/spring-boot-skills. Use when adding retries, backoff, or concurrency limits to Spring Boot 4 / Spring Framework 7 code with core Retryable and ConcurrencyLimit support. Covers enablement, backoff, proxy limits, and behavior after retries are exhausted.
Its SKILL.md is about 590 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 5 other files (for example `agents/openai.yaml`).
It sits in Backend & APIs, covering Backend development. It works with Spring Boot. The repository describes itself as: Production-grade Claude Code and Codex skills for Spring Boot developers. The licence is MIT.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit f0c06a0. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Ships script files (Java), which the agent can run.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Resilience Retry loads about 589 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 62 tokens; SKILL.md has 207 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

repackaging of the separate spring-retry project; attribute names and recovery behavior differ.
@Configuration
@EnableResilientMethods
class ResilienceConfig { }Use @Retryable for transient failures and @ConcurrencyLimit as a lightweight bulkhead:
@Service
class PaymentClient {
@Retryable(
includes = ConnectException.class,
maxRetries = 4,
delay = 200,
multiplier = 2.0,
maxDelay = 2000,
jitter = 50)
PaymentResult charge(ChargeRequest request) { ... }
}
@ConcurrencyLimit(4)
Report generateReport(UUID id) { ... }maxRetries counts retries after the first call, so four retries means five total attempts.
Backoff attributes are flat on @Retryable; multiplier = 1.0 means fixed delay.
Core resilience has no @Recover. When attempts are exhausted, the last exception reaches the
caller. Catch it at the orchestration boundary or use a listener. Because the implementation is
proxy-based, self-invocation bypasses advice. Put retry outside a transactional bean when each
attempt needs a fresh transaction.
spring-retry for basic core retry - use @EnableResilientMethods with Framework 7.org.springframework.retry.annotation - core annotations use org.springframework.resilience.annotation.maxAttempts - core uses maxRetries, which counts retries rather than total calls.@Recover - core resilience has no recovery callback; handle the final exception at the caller.@Backoff - use flat delay, multiplier, maxDelay, and jitter attributes.@EnableResilientMethods - annotations are ignored without enablement.© rrezartprebreza, MIT. A skill your agent uses when adding retries, backoff, or concurrency limits to Spring Boot 4 / Spring Framework 7 code with core Retryable and ConcurrencyLimit support. Resilience Retry is an agent skill from rrezartprebreza/spring-boot-skills. Use when adding retries, backoff, or concurrency limits to Spring Boot 4 / Spring Framework 7 code with core Retryable and ConcurrencyLimit support.
Resilience Retry fits situations like: concurrency limits to Spring Boot 4 / Spring Framework 7 code with core Retryable and ConcurrencyLimit support; tasks that involve Backend development.
Run `npx skills add rrezartprebreza/spring-boot-skills --skill resilience-retry -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/spring-boot-4/resilience-retry in rrezartprebreza/spring-boot-skills) into .claude/skills/resilience-retry in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add rrezartprebreza/spring-boot-skills --skill resilience-retry -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/spring-boot-4/resilience-retry in rrezartprebreza/spring-boot-skills) into .agents/skills/resilience-retry in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add rrezartprebreza/spring-boot-skills --skill resilience-retry -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/resilience-retry, .gemini/skills/resilience-retry, .github/skills/resilience-retry and .opencode/skills/resilience-retry in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Resilience Retry needs Java for the scripts in its folder.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Resilience Retry is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 589 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 2.4k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
