What it does

Omh Jev Done Check is an agent skill from rlaope/oh-my-hermes. [omh] Completion claim tested by Jev: Jev done check: does the gathered evidence support the completion claim? It can only object. Use when the user says: jev-done-check, jev done check, ask jev if this is done, jev evidence check.

Its SKILL.md is about 640 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 3 other files, including reference files (for example `references/full-contract.md` and `references/preset.md`).

The repository describes itself as: All in one plugin for Hermes Agent ⚚ the coding intelligence, a long-term memory system and model optimized workflow packages. The licence is MIT.

When your agent uses it

  • The user says: jev-done-check
  • Ask jev if this is done
  • Jev evidence check

Example prompts

  • “/omh-jev-done-check”

Workflow steps

3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.

  1. Name what leaves the machine: each claim, an excerpt of observed output, and the goal.
  2. Call omh_jev_ask with preset: done_check/v1 and state {claim, evidence_excerpt, goal}, one ask per claim, at most 6.
  3. Report each objection with its claim and rule; fix or withdraw an objected claim before reporting completion.

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 7cd0d02. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Omh Jev Done Check loads about 640 tokens when it runs, and up to ~1.8k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 63 tokens; SKILL.md has 283 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~63
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~640
With references · SKILL.md plus every file in references/, read only if the agent opens them
~1.8k

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

description
[omh] Completion claim tested by Jev: Jev done check: does the gathered evidence support the completion claim? It can only object. Use when the user says: jev-done-check, jev done check, ask jev if this is done, jev evidence check.

Jev Done Check

Required: each completion claim, observed evidence, and the goal. Output: objections per claim, or no_objection.

Read omh-routing/references/jev-rail.md before the first ask: consent, what leaves the machine, limits, and non-answer statuses. Prepared OMH routing is not execution or approval. Shared product, routing, compatibility, and evidence rules: omh-routing/references/skill-common-rail.md.

Contract: references/full-contract.md. Preset: references/preset.md.

Procedure

Completion Checklist

  • Preserve workflow intent and stop conditions; load the full contract before claiming completion.
  • Reply in the user's own words and the host's own voice: its SOUL.md persona owns reply language, tone, speech level, and sentence endings, progress updates included (where it sets no language, use the one the user wrote in), and OMH shapes structure and content only; OMH's record terms (surface, lane, wrapper, handoff, evidence boundary, not_observed) stay in records and tool calls, never in the sentence the user reads unless they ask about one; and when a stop condition or a decision the user owns ends the turn, offer the next action as a question rather than declaring what will not be done.
  • Report the tool's status, ask_id, served model, and cost source; a non-answer is not_observed with rule: not_answered:<status>, never Jev's answer.
  • Record observed delegation results; use Hermes-native subagent/delegation features when available: native subagents -> Hermes delegation when available, otherwise sequential lanes.

Recovery Notes

  • Tool missing, consent_not_observed, or refused: follow the rail's recovery section; never simulate an answer.
