At a glance

Add Grain Event Model topology to an Allium intent-first elicitation.

  • Tasks that involve Event-driven systems
  • Instructions only: no scripts, shell commands, URLs or credentials in SKILL.md

What it does

Event Model Elicit is an agent skill from ObneyAI/grain. Add Grain Event Model topology to an Allium intent-first elicitation. Use after or alongside Allium elicit for a new Grain service area or feature: identify CQRS blocks, schemas, edges, screens, flows, and explicit Allium trace links, then validate against the live runtime when available.

Its SKILL.md is about 250 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.

It sits in Backend & APIs, covering Event-driven systems. The repository describes itself as: Build Reasonable Applications with Clojure in the World of Natural Language Programming. The licence is MIT.

Example prompts

  • “/event-model-elicit”

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit dbf5b52. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Event Model Elicit loads about 249 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 77 tokens; SKILL.md has 83 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~77
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~249

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Event Model Elicit

Run Allium elicit first for observable behaviour. From the agreed rules and surfaces, identify only the Grain topology required to realize them: commands, events, projections, queries, processors, schedules, screens, and significant flows. Do not restate rule outcomes in Event Model.

Create or extend one defeventmodel area. Add command-to-rule and screen-to-surface :grain/allium links. Validate incrementally, accepting that new blocks may remain aspirational until implementation loads their registries. Hand behavioural changes back to Allium; hand the finished topology to event-model-propagate and implementation.
