update-skillsRefreshes the code of installed NanoClaw channel and provider skills from their registry branches, with fork-aware remotes and a result that must be fully successful.
After a NanoClaw update, installed channel and provider code can fall behind. This skill refreshes it without re-running credential setup, editing `.env`, changing wiring or restarting services. It requires a clean working tree, then runs `scripts/update-skills.ts` for all installed skills or a comma-separated subset. The helper finds installed skills from the real barrels and resolves each registry branch through configured remotes, so a fork whose `origin` is yours and whose official source is `upstream` works, with `NANOCLAW_REGISTRY_REMOTE` as a validated override.
The command prints structured JSON with one result per skill and exits nonzero unless every skill refreshed, and the agent treats that as a gate: a missing skill, fetch error or dependency error blocks progress and nothing is recorded as done. Afterwards it runs the build and tests, a type check of the container agent runner if its sources changed, and an agent image update, pulling when the hardened image setting is on. Any failure means no restart and no success report.

NanoClaw Skill Payload Refresh loads about 786 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 63 tokens; SKILL.md has 350 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check noted patterns worth knowing about, such as sudo or a known installer.

Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

not re-run credential setup, change .env, alter wiring, or restart services.
Run from the NanoClaw project root. Use ordinary conversation for any choice; do not depend on a provider-specific question or skill-invocation tool.
Require a clean working tree:
git status --porcelainIf it is dirty, stop. Never mix a refresh with unrelated changes.
The default is every installed channel/provider. If the user asked for a
subset, pass its comma-separated names. Otherwise use all:
pnpm exec tsx scripts/update-skills.ts --skills all
# Example subset: --skills slack, opencodeThe helper detects installed skills from the real channel/provider barrels. It
resolves each registry branch by checking configured remotes, so a fork whose
origin is the user's repo and whose official source is upstream works
without special handling. NANOCLAW_REGISTRY_REMOTE=<name> is an explicit
override and is validated before use.
The command prints nanoclaw-skill-refresh/v1-shaped JSON fields with one
result per selected skill and exits nonzero unless every selected skill was
fully refreshed.
success is true and every status is refreshed. The refresh engine overwrites skill-owned registry files and advances exact
dependency/CLI-manifest pins. It skips prompts, operator walkthroughs, .env
writes, wiring, restarts, and ordinary build/test directives.
After a successful refresh:
pnpm run build
pnpm testIf files under container/agent-runner/src/ changed, also run:
pnpm exec tsc -p container/agent-runner/tsconfig.json --noEmitIf anything under container/ changed, update the install's agent image using
the source mode already selected in .env:
if grep -q '^NANOCLAW_HARDENED_IMAGE=true$' .env 2>/dev/null; then
./container/build.sh pull
else
./container/build.sh
fiAny validation or image failure is blocking. Do not restart or report success.
Show the selected skills, the registry remote used for each branch, changed
files, validation results, and any blocking error. If this was a standalone
refresh and the service was running, restart it through the service mode that
actually owns this install and verify data/ncl.sock plus bin/ncl groups list. When called inside /update-nanoclaw, leave restart and health checking
to that transaction.

preset-io/agor
Upgrades a pinned agent SDK in the agor project, such as the Claude, Codex or Gemini CLI one, and plans the release that carries it to packaged installs.
ToolJet/ToolJet
Decides where a new agent skill belongs in the ToolJet repo, public root or private ee submodule, then wires the symlinks so it loads in Claude Code, Cursor and Codex.
getsentry/sentry-wizard
Manage agent skill dependencies with dotagents. An agent skill from getsentry/sentry-wizard.
Th0rgal/sandboxed.sh
Reads and updates the Sandboxed.sh Library, a git-backed store of skills, agents, commands, tools, rules and MCP servers, through its library tools.

nanocoai/nanoclaw
Installs or refreshes OneCLI as the gateway provider for NanoClaw, copying the adapter files, registering the provider and running the setup script.

Drives a web browser from the shell with the agent-browser CLI: open pages, read an element snapshot, click and fill by reference, grab text and screenshots.
nanocoai/nanoclaw
Installs the `dial` CLI and a credential in NanoClaw agent containers so chosen agents can send SMS, place AI voice calls and receive verification codes.
nanocoai/nanoclaw
Guides a conversational migration from an OpenClaw install to NanoClaw v2, carrying over identity, channel credentials, scheduled tasks and workspace files.
nanocoai/nanoclaw
Wires up an additional phone number onto an already-installed Dial channel, so one NanoClaw install answers SMS and AI voice calls on more than one line.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, NanoClaw Skill Payload Refresh needs the command-line tools its instructions call (pnpm and git). Our summary lists: A NanoClaw checkout with a clean git working tree; pnpm and Git.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Its commands use git, which can reach the network depending on how they are called. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found notes only (mentions a .env file), nothing it rates as a warning. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
