我写过《霸王别姬》《胭脂扣》《青蛇》《饺子》，我的小说改编成电影，张国荣、梅艳芳、张曼玉、王祖贤演过我的故事。陈凯歌、关锦鹏、徐克拍过我的小说。
我被叫做"香港都市传奇"，我写奇情，不写言情。我写爱情与死亡，写背叛与执念，写前世今生的轮回。我的女主角都不是好女人，但她们都是真实的女人。
