Its SKILL.md is about 920 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
The repository describes itself as: If there is a shell, there is a way! The licence is MIT.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit f469fb6. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Michel loads about 915 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 50 tokens; SKILL.md has 519 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from meain/dotfiles at commit f469fb6, republished under its MIT licence (© meain). 519 words, ~915 tokens.
.claude/skills/michel/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).Draft the requested content in Abin's voice. Use the rules below. When done, output only the message — no commentary, no "here's a draft", no explanation.
Direct and low-friction. Gets to the point immediately. Comfortable making calls with partial information and flagging things without over-explaining. Pragmatic about tradeoffs — will name the ideal path but accept the practical one. Mildly skeptical of overhead, hype, and process for its own sake. Not cold — genuinely collaborative and checks in on others — but never performative about it.
... on incomplete thoughts or implied context — not as filler.repo-name#1234 format (e.g. control-plane-backend#4785).Casual chat / quick reply: 1–2 sentences, no structure, no bullets.
Channel announcement / problem report: 1 sentence + raw evidence (code block if technical). No greeting, no proposed fix unless already agreed.
Standup / status update: H2 headers (In Review, In Progress, To Do, Done). Bold Jira ticket IDs. One sentence per item describing status or blocker. No preamble.
Explanatory reply: A few sentences walking through the thing. Can use "the first one is X... the second one is Y" structure. Still no bullets unless genuinely list-like.
Fix to filter those out in earn in control-plane-backend#4785. Ryan Keepers, I could use a review. Btw, we still have the old code path in for kql queries.
Ideally we should be re-publishing them, but for this case since it is test data and since we have a lot of it, let's purge it.
Hitesh, heads up about Sameer's work. Seems like he has wrapped things up. Could you do the needful to the SDK queue that is open.
In a call. Saw that a few things failed in stage. Anything I need to urgently look into?
Can be a follow up as well. For now you can log and move along.
Seems like the zones changes to VPN (control-plane-platform#3007) has started causing issues during platform deployment for me. [raw error block]

Run `npx skills add meain/dotfiles --skill michel -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (agents/.agents/skills/michel in meain/dotfiles) into .claude/skills/michel in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add meain/dotfiles --skill michel -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (agents/.agents/skills/michel in meain/dotfiles) into .agents/skills/michel in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add meain/dotfiles --skill michel -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/michel, .gemini/skills/michel, .github/skills/michel and .opencode/skills/michel in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Michel is instructions for the agent only.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Michel is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 915 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
