icue-widget-builderBuilds, reviews and packages iCUE HTML widgets for CORSAIR device screens such as Xeneon Edge, Pump LCD and keyboard LCD, treating the local docs as the source of truth.
The agent treats the files in `/docs` and `references/` as authoritative for `manifest.json` requirements, widget meta tags, property types, plugin usage, packaging layout and translation behavior, and follows them over any older skill guidance. It does not invent unsupported meta properties or undocumented package layouts. If a local `icuewidget` CLI is available it is preferred for initiating, validating and packaging; otherwise the agent explains the equivalent manual structure.
Work starts with a mandatory requirements phase. Before any code, the agent asks about the widget's purpose and data source, target devices (dashboard LCD, pump LCD, keyboard LCD, and the Xeneon Edge sizes), update interval and offline behavior, settings users can change, visual style, whether it is for Marketplace submission, and which common tools and plugins are needed, such as a media viewer, ticker, date formatter or color tools. The docs folder also covers controls like sliders, switches and comboboxes, the iCUE global object and JavaScript expressions. The excerpt is cut off in the middle of those questions.
5 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 5bf3e6b. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are css, javascript and markdown).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
iCUE Widget Builder loads about 5.2k tokens when it runs, and up to ~32k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 81 tokens; SKILL.md has 2,326 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 2,326 words (~5,236 tokens).
“When the user asks to create an iCUE widget, follow this workflow.”

iCUE Widget Builder fits situations like: creating a new iCUE widget for a Xeneon Edge screen; debugging or reviewing an existing widget's manifest and meta tags; packaging a widget for Marketplace submission or private use.
Run `npx skills add marcimastro98/Xenon --skill icue-widget-builder -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (WidgetBuilder in marcimastro98/Xenon) into .claude/skills/icue-widget-builder in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add marcimastro98/Xenon --skill icue-widget-builder -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (WidgetBuilder in marcimastro98/Xenon) into .agents/skills/icue-widget-builder in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add marcimastro98/Xenon --skill icue-widget-builder -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/icue-widget-builder, .gemini/skills/icue-widget-builder, .github/skills/icue-widget-builder and .opencode/skills/icue-widget-builder in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: iCUE Widget Builder is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: Optionally the local `icuewidget` CLI for initiating, validating and packaging.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
iCUE Widget Builder has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 5.2k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 21k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 27k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
Skills that share tags, products or a category with iCUE Widget Builder: React Router Development (remix-run/react-router, 57k stars), React UI State Patterns (ChrisWiles/claude-code-showcase, 6.1k stars), React Frontend Development Guidelines (diet103/claude-code-infrastructure-showcase, 10k stars) and Tabler Core JavaScript (tabler/tabler, 42k stars).
