gpt-isms-stamp-outStrips GPT-5.4 verbal tics from AI-written text and keeps them out of new READMEs, specs and proposals, with detailed rules for Chinese writing.
The skill applies when you ask to clean up AI-sounding text, and also when the agent is about to write a document itself. Its Chinese detection rules are grouped into six levels of tics that must go: structural patterns such as the not-A-but-B contrast and overused ba sentences, filler phrases and numbered transition chains, flattery, internet corporate jargon, false certainty, and stylistic habits.
Each rule comes with before and after examples. Typical fixes are to drop an unsolicited closing offer of more help, state the second half of a false contrast directly, remove parenthetical notes from headings, cut announcement-style openers, use bold or italics instead of quotation marks for emphasis, and replace absolute claims with proportional confidence.
5 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit d487f05. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

Stamp Out GPT-isms loads about 1.5k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 71 tokens; SKILL.md has 667 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
