Jsxgraph is an agent skill from madhvantyagi/Gnos. Build and inspect mathematical graphs and coordinate constructions with JSXGraph when a learner needs to connect an equation to a shape, solve graphically, or test a quantitative change. Use other diagram tools for concept maps, network layouts, and geographic maps.
Its SKILL.md is about 870 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 17 other files, including scripts, reference files and assets (for example `assets/vendor/jsxgraphcore.js`, `assets/vendor/source.json` and `examples/derivative.js`).
It sits in Knowledge Management, covering Knowledge graphs. The repository describes itself as: Teaching harness , help you to learn anything , It teaches like real teacher , design curriculum , generate videos , simulations , images , pdfs , tracks your learning style etc. The licence is MIT.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 2e42b62. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Ships 1 file in scripts/ (JavaScript and Python), which the agent can run.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Jsxgraph loads about 868 tokens when it runs, and up to ~2.2k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 69 tokens; SKILL.md has 454 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.

.claude/skills/jsxgraph/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). This skill also uses 11 other files; get the full folder from GitHub.Use this skill after lesson design has selected a mathematical graph through representation choices. It builds the graph; the subject teacher still owns the model and explanation. JSXGraph runs in the browser. It needs no MCP server, account, or learner setup.
Read the selected subject guidance and the block brief. Identify the difficult step that a graph will expose. A learner might connect a derivative to a tangent, find an intersection, compare feasible choices, or explain a parameter change. Write that action into the brief before choosing controls.
Keep the lesson's example, variables, units, and assumptions. Show how each important equation term corresponds to an object or value in the graph. If the learner has not met the axes or the quantities, introduce them in the surrounding explanation. Work through one result before asking the learner to investigate a new case.
Use a fixed view when comparing its parts is sufficient. Add a draggable point, slider, or step button only when changing it answers the lesson's question. For graph reading, ask the learner to explain a slope, area, scale, or domain. For graphical problem solving, connect the estimated solution to a calculation and state its precision. A picture can suggest a result; it does not prove it.
Read authoring for the starter examples, export command, and checks specific to mathematical plots. Follow simulation presentation for the palette, layout, responsive views, and embedded inspection. Those rules remain shared with other HTML experiments.
Start from the example closest to the teaching action and adapt its ordinary
JavaScript. Use the pinned local runtime through scripts/build_graph.py.
Keep the numerical calculation available in the source. JSXGraph draws the
model; it does not establish a physical law, causal claim, or numerical method.
Use the host's available browser and file tools to build and inspect the result.
Do not add a research service or require an MCP for this workflow.
Return the checked HTML, its title and purpose, model assumptions, and the
actual iframe dimensions. Use interactive-graph for a mathematical view
and simulation for an experiment whose state evolves. Both register as a
simulation artifact with MIME type text/html. Declare
skills/jsxgraph/SKILL.md in the lesson's skill_routes and in the block's
production.skill_route. Existing binding representation plans still apply.
The coordinator follows the existing artifact registry to publish the result. Keep prompts for learner predictions and explanations in the existing exercise blocks. Moving a control is exploration, not independent success. Do not claim that responses inside an HTML graph have been saved or graded by the course viewer. If the export or embedded checks fail, return the concrete failure and keep the artifact in draft until it is repaired.

Jsxgraph fits situations like: tasks that involve Knowledge graphs.
Run `npx skills add madhvantyagi/Gnos --skill jsxgraph -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/jsxgraph in madhvantyagi/Gnos) into .claude/skills/jsxgraph in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add madhvantyagi/Gnos --skill jsxgraph -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/jsxgraph in madhvantyagi/Gnos) into .agents/skills/jsxgraph in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add madhvantyagi/Gnos --skill jsxgraph -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/jsxgraph, .gemini/skills/jsxgraph, .github/skills/jsxgraph and .opencode/skills/jsxgraph in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Jsxgraph needs JavaScript and Python for the scripts in its folder. Our summary lists: Python 3; Node.js.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
Jsxgraph is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 868 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.5k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 1.3k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
