What it does

Levyra PR Review is an agent skill from LUC4N3X/Levyra-deepsound. Review a Levyra branch, commit, patch, or pull request for correctness, regressions, concurrency, lifecycle, security, data safety, UI behavior, CI, release risk, missing tests, and merge-readiness evidence.

Its SKILL.md is about 1.9k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.

It sits in Development, covering Pull requests. It works with Git. The repository describes itself as: Open-source music player for Android and Windows with no accounts or tracking. Built for quick discovery, synced lyrics, radio, and rich artwork ♫. The licence is GPL-3.0.

When your agent uses it

  • Tasks that involve Pull requests

Example prompts

  • “/levyra-pr-review”

Workflow steps

4 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.

  1. Read the root AGENTS.md and every nearest AGENTS.md covering changed files.
  2. Read all canonical .agents/skills/ and .agents/claude/rules/ owners relevant to the diff.
  3. Inspect the complete diff, surrounding implementation, tests, build files, workflows, and current review discussion.
  4. Ignore comments that no longer apply to the current head revision.

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit c7de935. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

    Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

    From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

    Shell commands in SKILL.md call:

    • git
    • codex

    From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md. Its commands use git, which can reach the network depending on how they are called.

    From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

    Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

    From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Levyra PR Review loads about 1.9k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 56 tokens; SKILL.md has 963 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~56
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~1.9k

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Levyra pull request review workflow

Required context

Commit and branch review evidence

A review does not require a pull request. When the handoff names a commit or branch:

  1. Work from the reviewer agent's own ./repo checkout, not a parent agent's relative path or inherited working directory.
  2. Fetch remote refs as needed and resolve the exact requested SHA before reviewing it.
  3. For a normal commit, inspect the complete patch from its parent to the requested SHA plus the surrounding implementation and tests. For a root commit or explicitly supplied patch, use the available complete patch representation instead of assuming a parent exists.
  4. Use local Git evidence such as git show <sha> and git diff <sha>^ <sha> when there is no PR. A missing PR association is never by itself a reason to mark the review blocked.
  5. If a PR is supplied, verify that its current head still matches the requested SHA before using PR comments or checks as current evidence.
  6. If the requested SHA cannot be resolved even after a bounded fetch, report that exact failure and the fetch/ref evidence. Do not replace it with a generic diff not verified conclusion.

Finding lifecycle

Review findings are evidence objects, not permanent labels. Track each material candidate as one of:

  • CANDIDATE: plausible concern that still needs a concrete failure path;
  • CONFIRMED: current-head evidence establishes the triggering scenario and consequence;
  • DISPROVED: inspection/test/runtime evidence shows the concern does not apply;
  • RETRACTED: a previously reported/confirmed finding was invalidated by a later revision or stronger evidence;
  • BLOCKED: evidence needed to decide cannot currently be obtained.

Do not carry a finding from an older SHA into the current review without revalidation. If a previously published finding no longer applies, explicitly retract it instead of leaving the thread/handoff to imply it is still active.

A model suspicion, static pattern, warning, linter message, or stale review comment is not a confirmed defect until the current code has a concrete failure path.

Local readiness loop

When the task is to prepare implementation for publication or determine merge readiness, run focused checks and Levyra's required local gate before review. When Codex is available and the active agent is not already operating in review mode, run:

bash
codex review --uncommitted

Verify every finding against the current diff. Fix only actionable defects, rerun affected validation, and repeat the built-in review until no actionable findings remain. Do not invoke a nested Codex review when the current task is itself a code-review session. If the built-in review is required for readiness but unavailable or fails, report that as a readiness blocker instead of substituting an unrelated third-party review command.

For published PR readiness, require checks and review evidence against the latest commit, inspect unresolved thread state, and require a fresh independent review. Builder self-review and green CI do not replace independent review. Required manual testing remains incomplete until it is actually performed on the target environment.

Treat screenshots and direct user/runtime observations as acceptance evidence. A visible regression must be reconciled even when automation is green.

CI/test failure discipline

When a check is red, classify it before recommending a code change or retry:

  • PRODUCT_REGRESSION;
  • TEST_DEFECT;
  • ENVIRONMENT/infrastructure;
  • FLAKY/intermittent with evidence of nondeterminism;
  • UNKNOWN pending more evidence.

Do not repeatedly rerun the same failing check to manufacture a green status. A retry is useful only when it tests a concrete environment/flakiness hypothesis, and the original failure remains part of the review evidence. One passing retry does not by itself prove flakiness.

For regression tests, prefer coverage of externally observable behavior or a durable contract. Avoid tests that freeze incidental implementation structure unless that structure is itself the contract being protected.

Review priorities

Check, as applicable:

  • user-visible behavior and backward compatibility;
  • playback, audio/video mode, queue, MediaSession, notification, Android Auto, and service synchronization;
  • coroutine ownership, cancellation, stale publication, lifecycle cleanup, and resource leaks;
  • extractor fallback, cache semantics, runtime configuration, and network bounds;
  • Room migrations, data preservation, backup compatibility, and identity;
  • Compose state scope, effect keys, stable lists, accessibility, RTL, and localization;
  • secrets, remote URLs, redirects, MIME handling, permissions, privacy, and workflow trust boundaries;
  • Android/Desktop version separation, signing, packaging, artifacts, and release behavior;
  • whether tests actually fail for the original defect and cover the changed behavior.

Output format

Put confirmed findings before the summary and order them by severity. Each reported finding must include:

  • evidence state and current-head SHA/revision context;
  • severity and confidence;
  • exact file/line or symbol;
  • triggering scenario;
  • consequence;
  • smallest compatible fix;
  • missing regression coverage.

Do not report speculative findings without a concrete failure path. Keep disproved/retracted items out of the active findings list, but state retractions when they correct something previously reported. Finish with validation observed, validation missing, manual-test state, latest-head evidence when relevant, and remaining blockers.

Evidence hygiene

Before placing logs, screenshots, HARs, request/response excerpts, CI output, or stack traces in a durable/public review artifact, apply the compact evidence-hygiene rules in docs/ai/SKILL_INTELLIGENCE.md: redact secrets, tokens, cookies, signed/private URLs, account identifiers, and unrelated PII while preserving the minimum structure needed to reproduce the finding. Load levyra-security-review only when the diff or finding is actually security-sensitive.

Skill-intelligence discipline

Use docs/ai/SKILL_INTELLIGENCE.md when changing review/debugging skill coverage. Prefer strengthening this existing owner over installing a broad review catalog. Route/evaluation changes need positive and near-miss coverage and must not increase context cost without a material review benefit.

Provenance

The failure-classification and review-discipline refinements are selectively informed by Jeffallan/claude-skills; the explicit finding/retraction discipline is informed by elementalsouls/Claude-BugHunter. They are rewritten for Levyra and remain subordinate to current code, tests, repository rules, and safe evidence.
