gstack-document-releaseBrings project documentation back in line with shipped behavior by reading the current diff for user-visible changes and updating only the docs they affect.
The agent inspects the current diff, picks out changes users can see, and maps them to affected docs such as README files, plugin READMEs, desktop docs, examples, settings and scripts. It checks those files for stale commands, paths, model and provider names, environment variables, screenshots and troubleshooting text, edits only what is directly affected, and verifies links, commands and JSON snippets where practical.
Writing follows the Diataxis split between tutorials, how-to guides, reference pages and explanations. The run ends with a report listing the docs changed, the behavior now documented, the commands or snippets that were verified, and gaps left for later. It is meant for changes to behavior, setup, CLI flags, the desktop workflow, provider support or plugin surfaces in the OPC project.
5 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 2980105. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves these tools, so the agent can use them without asking each time:
ReadGrepGlobBashEditWriteFrom allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Gstack Document Release loads about 282 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 45 tokens; SKILL.md has 106 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check noted patterns worth knowing about, such as sudo or a known installer.
allowed-tools: Read, Grep, Glob, Bash, Edit, WriteAutomated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 106 words (~282 tokens).

Gstack Document Release fits situations like: updating READMEs after a change to CLI flags or setup steps; auditing docs for stale provider names or environment variables after a release; documenting a new plugin surface or desktop workflow change.
Run `npx skills add LING71671/Open-ClaudeCode --skill gstack-document-release -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (plugins/gstack-workflows/skills/gstack-document-release in LING71671/Open-ClaudeCode) into .claude/skills/gstack-document-release in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.

Or copy the skill folder (plugins/gstack-workflows/skills/gstack-document-release in LING71671/Open-ClaudeCode) into .agents/skills/gstack-document-release in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add LING71671/Open-ClaudeCode --skill gstack-document-release -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/gstack-document-release, .gemini/skills/gstack-document-release, .github/skills/gstack-document-release and .opencode/skills/gstack-document-release in your project.
SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Gstack Document Release is instructions for the agent only. Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Read, Grep, Glob, Bash, Edit, Write.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found notes only (pre-approves every shell command (allowed-tools: bash)), nothing it rates as a warning. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Gstack Document Release has a licence file (the repository's licence) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 282 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 1.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
