light-software-copyrightPrepares draft materials for a China software copyright registration from a real project: application worksheet, source deposit plan, operation manual and consistency checks.
The skill drafts auditable registration materials and keeps the software name, version, source-code material, manual, screenshots and applicant fields consistent, so you or a service provider can review them. It begins with intake, marking unknowns, and stops for your confirmation before formal documents are produced. Source material is bound to a real snapshot: each selected file is recorded with its relative path, SHA-256 and reason, and build artifacts, minified bundles, vendored dependencies and lock files are excluded by default.
Firm limits apply. It is not legal advice, never submits an application or promises approval, never invents or pads source code, and requires a secret and privacy scan before exporting code, stopping for a redaction plan if secrets appear. When the current rules of the China Copyright Protection Center are not verified that day, it records UNKNOWN or PLANNED. Helpers include scripts/materials_gate.py and scripts/source_deposit_plan.py, a JSON template for the materials, and two reference files on workflow and rules.
6 steps, taken from the step headings in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 6b44f57. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Ships 2 files in scripts/ (Python), which the agent can run.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
pythonFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
No URLs in SKILL.md.
From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
China Software Copyright Materials loads about 1.9k tokens when it runs, and up to ~4.3k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 144 tokens; SKILL.md has 863 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); the scripts in this folder are not scanned.
The full file from Light0305/Light-skills at commit 6b44f57, republished under its MIT licence (© Light0305). 863 words, ~1,918 tokens.

This skill also uses 5 other files; get the full folder from GitHub.Prepare auditable China software copyright material drafts from a real project. The core job is not “write pretty documents”; it is to keep software name, version, source-code material, manual, screenshots, applicant fields and user confirmations consistent enough for the user or professional service provider to review.

UNKNOWN or PLANNED.light.findings.v1, has
no stage, no checkpoint gate and no reroute.Capture or mark UNKNOWN:
CN; do not silently reuse CN rules for US/EU work;Stop for user confirmation before formal documents are generated.
Inventory source files from the project the user placed in scope. Record relative path, SHA-256 and why selected. Exclude:
If the project is too small, submit all real source rather than padding.
Run the lightweight planner before extraction:
python scripts/source_deposit_plan.py --root <project-root> --out 软件著作权申请资料/草稿/source-deposit-plan.json --software-name "<软件全称>" --version "<版本号>"
python scripts/source_deposit_plan.py --selftestUse the plan to confirm candidate files, page mode, selected file count, secret-scan status and the plan SHA. If secret-like content is found, stop for redaction before exporting code material.
Generate a worksheet for the user to verify:
The manual must describe how a reviewer/user operates the software. It should not be a generic feature list disconnected from screens, commands or workflows. Record rights basis and third-party/open-source/generated-code review before formal export. Do not assume independent ownership when the project may be commissioned, cooperative, inherited, derivative or license-constrained.
For normal China material logic, follow the official first/last rule:
Keep extraction manifests and page counts. If exceptional deposit is requested, mark it explicitly and ask the user to verify the current official rule.
Use a local folder such as 软件著作权申请资料/:
草稿/: application worksheet, manual draft, code-selection notes;正式资料/: final DOCX/TXT/PDF-like outputs only after confirmation;Screenshots are optional; if not used, record why. If used, bind each screenshot to a real running UI or user-provided image and hash it.
Create a packet following
templates/software-copyright-materials.example.json,
then run:
python scripts/source_deposit_plan.py --selftest
python scripts/materials_gate.py --packet software-copyright-materials.json --base <project-root> --as-of 2026-07-05
python scripts/materials_gate.py --selftestThe gate must pass before calling the package ready for user/professional review. A failed gate means repair the source plan, source binding, rights basis, third-party review, confirmation, page rule, version consistency, secret handling or output hashes.

Prepares draft materials for a China software copyright registration from a real project: application worksheet, source deposit plan, operation manual and consistency checks. The skill drafts auditable registration materials and keeps the software name, version, source-code material, manual, screenshots and applicant fields consistent, so you or a service provider can review them. China Software Copyright Materials fits situations like: assembling source-code deposit pages from a project for copyright registration; drafting the user or operation manual that accompanies an application; checking name and version consistency across all registration documents; reviewing the material set before submission.
Run `npx skills add Light0305/Light-skills --skill light-software-copyright -a claude-code`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/light-software-copyright in Light0305/Light-skills) into .claude/skills/light-software-copyright in your project. Claude Code loads it when a task matches its description.
Run `npx skills add Light0305/Light-skills --skill light-software-copyright -a codex`. Or copy the skill folder (skills/light-software-copyright in Light0305/Light-skills) into .agents/skills/light-software-copyright in your project. Codex loads it when a task matches its description.
Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode also load SKILL.md folders. With the skills CLI, run `npx skills add Light0305/Light-skills --skill light-software-copyright -a cursor` (or -a gemini-cli, github-copilot or opencode for the others). To copy it by hand, put the folder in .cursor/skills/light-software-copyright, .gemini/skills/light-software-copyright, .github/skills/light-software-copyright and .opencode/skills/light-software-copyright in your project.
Going by SKILL.md and its folder, China Software Copyright Materials needs Python for the scripts in its folder and the command-line tools its instructions call (python). Our summary lists: Python for the bundled scripts; The real project source files, scanned for secrets before export.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. The check reads SKILL.md only: the scripts in the folder are not scanned, so read them before running anything.
China Software Copyright Materials is published under the MIT licence (the repository's licence). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 1.9k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 7.7k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 2.3k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
