What it does

Analytics is an agent skill from LedgerHQ/ledger-live. Read when adding or changing product analytics events. Import track from @shared/analytics and React adapters from @shared/analytics-react.

Its SKILL.md is about 320 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.

It sits in Data & Analytics, covering Product analytics. It works with React. The repository describes itself as: Mono-repository for Ledger Wallet apps and related packages. The licence is MIT.

When your agent uses it

  • Tasks that involve Product analytics

Example prompts

  • “/analytics”

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit a3861a2. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

Context cost

Analytics loads about 323 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 37 tokens; SKILL.md has 123 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~37
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~323

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

description
Read when adding or changing product analytics events. Import track from @shared/analytics and React adapters from @shared/analytics-react.

Product analytics

The API is @shared/analytics. React adapters are @shared/analytics-react.

  • Import track and trackPage from @shared/analytics and Track, TrackPage, and TrackScreen from @shared/analytics-react.
  • Do not re-export track, trackPage, Track, TrackPage or TrackScreen from app modules. App segment.ts files only wire the host.
  • Register the Segment client, consent, identify, extra props, and props filters in app (currently /apps/**/segment.ts).
  • Flow packages may keep an injected track helper so tests can pass a fake. They must not import an app barrel.
  • In tests, mock @shared/analytics (and @shared/analytics-react when the component is under test).
  • Do not put PII in event payloads. See detect-data-leaks and client-ids.

Portfolio charts (@ledgerhq/wallet-analytics) are a different package. Consent models stay in their own READMEs; apps only wire them into setEnabledFn and updateIdentify.
