webui-connection-infoFind WebUI dev server address and Backend.AI API endpoint/credentials for testing.
Webui Connection Info is an agent skill from lablup/backend.ai-webui. Find WebUI dev server address and Backend.AI API endpoint/credentials for testing. Trigger on: "which server", "connection info", "login credentials", "dev server URL", "API endpoint", "where to connect", "how to login", "test server", or when needing to interact with the running WebUI (screenshots, live checks, E2E). This skill only says where to connect: for the data behind the UI — field meanings, GraphQL queries, live rows — use the bai-agent skill.
Its SKILL.md is about 820 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts.
It sits in Backend & APIs, covering REST APIs, End-to-end testing and GraphQL. It works with GraphQL. The repository describes itself as: Backend.AI Web UI for web / desktop app (Windows/Linux/macOS). Backend.AI Web UI provides a convenient environment for users, while allowing various commands to be executed… The licence is LGPL-3.0.
3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit 10554dc. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Shell commands in SKILL.md call:
pnpmFrom the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Links to these hosts (documentation or services it may open):
github.comFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names these keys or tokens, usually read from environment variables:
E2E_ADMIN_PASSWORDE2E_USER_PASSWORDFrom names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Webui Connection Info loads about 817 tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 120 tokens; SKILL.md has 366 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check noted patterns worth knowing about, such as sudo or a known installer.
Read `e2e/envs/.env.playwright` to get the current server endpoint and login credentials.- The `.env.playwright` file may have multiple endpoints commented out (e.g., LTS vs main). Use the **uncommented** `E2EAutomated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

.claude/skills/webui-connection-info/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder). The WebUI dev server runs under Portless on a *.localhost:1355 URL.
scripts/dev.mjs names the app from the branch's issue key, its PR number and a
descriptive word — e.g. https://fr-3665-pr9049-statusline.localhost:1355, or
https://gh-10144-pr10150-drawer.localhost:1355 on a gh-N (GitHub issue) branch; off a
legacy FR or gh-N branch Portless derives the name. Don't construct the URL — read it from a source below.
Never assume port 1355: when another Portless daemon is already bound there (another Claude session / worktree), the server lands on 1356, 1357, … — always confirm the real port from one of the sources below.
To find the actual URL for a running instance, check these sources in order:
~/.local/state/fw/dev-servers/*.json, one per Portless app,
written by the dev-server skill. Each carries url (the gateway URL a teammate can
open), localUrl, branch, pid, startedAt/stoppedAt and the PRs it serves. A
record with stoppedAt set is a server that is gone. This is the only source that says
which branch and PRs a server is for, so start here.portless list — live routes on this box.pnpm run dev terminal output — Portless prints the full URL on startup. If no dev server is running, tell the user to start it with pnpm run dev (Portless is a devDependency and dev.mjs starts its daemon; no global install).
Read e2e/envs/.env.playwright to get the current server endpoint and login credentials.
Key variables:

The WebUI login page requires:
The app uses config.toml with connectionMode = "SESSION". If apiEndpoint is empty, the user must enter the endpoint manually on the login page.
.env.playwright file may have multiple endpoints commented out (e.g., LTS vs main).
