What it does

Salesloft Local Dev Loop is an agent skill from jeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplace. Build a Salesloft integration locally with sanitized contract fixtures, deterministic failure cases, and an optional guarded read-only smoke test. Use when iterating without touching real sales records. Trigger with "Salesloft local dev", "mock Salesloft", or "Salesloft contract fixtures".

Its SKILL.md is about 890 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files, including reference files (for example `references/official-docs.md`). Compatibility notes: Designed for Claude Code

It sits in Testing & QA, covering QA and bug reports. The repository describes itself as: Model-agnostic agent-skills platform with a harness-free canonical layer, verified adapters, and the ccpi package manager. Explore at tonsofskills.com. The licence is MIT.

When your agent uses it

  • Iterating without touching real sales records
  • With Salesloft local dev
  • Salesloft contract fixtures

Example prompts

  • “Salesloft local dev”
  • “mock Salesloft”
  • “Salesloft contract fixtures”
  • “/salesloft-local-dev-loop”

Requirements

  • Compatibility (from SKILL.md): Designed for Claude Code
  • Pre-approved tools (allowed-tools): Read, Glob, Grep, WebFetch, Write, Edit

Workflow steps

6 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.

  1. Identify the smallest HTTP adapter and every response shape the application consumes.
  2. Add sanitized success fixtures for identity, paged lists, and empty pages.
  3. Add deterministic 401, 403, 404, 422, 429, timeout, and non-JSON cases.
  4. Add webhook fixtures with raw body bytes, event header, signature, and callback token.
  5. Run unit and contract tests offline on every change.
  6. Keep any live smoke lane opt-in, read-only, bounded, and disabled for untrusted forks.

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit cfae287. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves these tools, so the agent can use them without asking each time:

    • Read
    • Glob
    • Grep
    • WebFetch
    • Write
    • Edit

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

Links to these hosts (documentation or services it may open):

    • developers.salesloft.com

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

  • Compatibility

    Designed for Claude Code

From compatibility in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

Context cost

Salesloft Local Dev Loop loads about 891 tokens when it runs, and up to ~1.6k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 79 tokens; SKILL.md has 366 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~79
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~891
With references · SKILL.md plus every file in references/, read only if the agent opens them
~1.6k

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

Salesloft Local Contract Loop

Overview

This skill creates a fast local loop around realistic Salesloft envelopes, pagination, errors, and webhook signatures. Live CRM mutation is outside the default loop.

Prerequisites

  • A named repository and test framework
  • Sanitized fixtures containing no customer or prospect data
  • A replaceable HTTP transport boundary
  • Optional non-production read credential stored outside source

Tool Discipline

Use Read, Glob, and Grep to map the client, adapters, fixtures, and test commands. Use WebFetch only to recheck official Salesloft contracts. Use Write or Edit only inside the confirmed repository.

Current Contract

  • Model successful responses with data and list metadata.
  • Model 403/404 as a singular error, 422 as field-keyed errors, and 429 with current rate headers.
  • Pagination begins at page 1; supported endpoints generally allow per_page from 1 through 100.
  • Webhook fixtures must preserve exact raw bytes for SHA-1 HMAC verification.

Authentication

Tests inject a fake Bearer value and assert redaction. An optional live lane may use a read-only credential only when the target team is explicitly named.

Instructions

Approval Boundaries

Never copy production responses into fixtures or use real tokens as placeholders. Do not enable live writes from a local test command.

Output

Return fixture inventory, contract assertions, commands run, pass/fail results, live-lane state, and any unsupported response shape.

Error Handling

ConditionResponse
Fixture contains PIIRemove it, rotate if necessary, and replace with synthetic data.
Test bypasses adapterMove the call behind the transport seam before mocking.
Live lane lacks team guardDisable it until target identity is asserted.
Contract driftUpdate the fixture and consumer together with an official-source receipt.

Examples

The example below shows the minimum redacted evidence expected from a successful invocation of this operator workflow.

offline=pass; fixtures=8; live-smoke=disabled; customer-records=0
