What it does

Onenote Prod Checklist is an agent skill from jeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplace. Decide whether a OneNote integration is ready for production from evidence across delegated access, content safety, correctness, limits, operations, and rollback. Use when reviewing a launch or material change. Trigger with "review OneNote production readiness", "OneNote go-live checklist", or "approve OneNote launch".

Its SKILL.md is about 1k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files, including reference files (for example `references/official-docs.md`). Compatibility notes: Designed for Claude Code; live OneNote actions require network access, delegated authentication, and explicit approval

It sits in DevOps & Cloud. The repository describes itself as: Model-agnostic agent-skills platform with a harness-free canonical layer, verified adapters, and the ccpi package manager. Explore at tonsofskills.com. The licence is MIT.

Requirements

  • Compatibility (from SKILL.md): Designed for Claude Code; live OneNote actions require network access, delegated authentication, and explicit approval
  • Pre-approved tools (allowed-tools): Read, Glob, Grep, Write, Edit

Workflow steps

6 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.

  1. Verify immutable artifact, dependency, configuration, migration, and test receipts.
  2. Confirm account type, tenant, user, app registration, delegated scopes, and approved user, group, or site roots.
  3. Review reads, writes, HTML, binary parts, paging, errors, limits, and unsupported-feature assumptions.
  4. Review data classification, logs, retention, queues, monitoring, incidents, and support custody.
  5. Exercise canary, failure, revocation, 429, rollback, and reconciliation paths.
  6. Issue GO, CONDITIONAL GO, or NO-GO with owners, expirations, and rollback triggers.

What it can do on your machine

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit cfae287. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.

  • Tool permissions

Pre-approves these tools, so the agent can use them without asking each time:

    • Read
    • Glob
    • Grep
    • Write
    • Edit

From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

  • Runs code

No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.

From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.

  • Network

    No URLs in SKILL.md.

From URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.

  • Credentials

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

  • Compatibility

Designed for Claude Code; live OneNote actions require network access, delegated authentication, and explicit approval

From compatibility in the SKILL.md frontmatter.

Context cost

Onenote Prod Checklist loads about 1k tokens when it runs, and up to ~1.7k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 86 tokens; SKILL.md has 414 words of instructions outside code blocks.

Always · name and description, kept in context so the agent knows when to use it
~86
When it runs · the whole SKILL.md, loaded when a task matches
~1k
With references · SKILL.md plus every file in references/, read only if the agent opens them
~1.7k

Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.

Safety

Auto-check passed

The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.

Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

OneNote Production Readiness Decision

Overview

Decide whether a OneNote integration is ready for production from evidence across delegated access, content safety, correctness, limits, operations, and rollback.. This workflow produces an auditable decision or artifact before any live action.

Prerequisites

  • Current first-party Microsoft Graph OneNote documentation and the selected integration's tested contract.
  • Named identity, content, workload, security, and operations owners appropriate to the requested scope.
  • Synthetic or approved non-production fixtures with secrets and real notebook content removed.

Current Contract

A launch is ready only when the actual user-bound auth lifecycle, approved content roots, supported v1.0 operations, pagination, HTML semantics, throttling, monitoring, and reconciliation are evidenced together. Recheck the dated evidence map before relying on mutable permissions, limits, SDK behavior, supported resources, or cloud availability.

Authentication

Verify delegated scope, consent owner, token-cache protection, tenant and user binding, revocation, and reauthentication. App-only fallback is a launch blocker.

Instructions

  1. Verify immutable artifact, dependency, configuration, migration, and test receipts.
  2. Confirm account type, tenant, user, app registration, delegated scopes, and approved user, group, or site roots.
  3. Review reads, writes, HTML, binary parts, paging, errors, limits, and unsupported-feature assumptions.
  4. Review data classification, logs, retention, queues, monitoring, incidents, and support custody.
  5. Exercise canary, failure, revocation, 429, rollback, and reconciliation paths.
  6. Issue GO, CONDITIONAL GO, or NO-GO with owners, expirations, and rollback triggers.

Tool Discipline

Use Read, Glob, and Grep to inspect documentation, configuration, code, fixtures, and evidence. Use Write and Edit only for approved repository artifacts. Invocation alone does not authorize network access, delegated credentials, tenant or notebook content, consent, file transfer, deployment, writes, spend, sharing changes, or deletion.

Approval Boundaries

Named release, security, identity, content, and operations owners approve their controls. Any content mutation or broad consent requires separate explicit approval.

Error Handling

  • NO-GO on app-only auth, undocumented delta or webhook calls, unbounded retries, or incomplete pagination.
  • A skipped negative or rollback test remains an open condition.
  • Do not waive tenant or user binding as operational detail.

Output

Return the signed control matrix, evidence links, failed gates, decision, conditions, owners, expiry, and rollback authority. Identify assumptions, owners, expirations, and evidence gaps explicitly.

Examples

  • Reject a release that assumes Retry-After on OneNote 429s.
  • Approve a read-only canary only after revoked-consent handling passes.

Validation

Exercise and record these paths with expected and observed results:

  • app-only blocker
  • pagination
  • HTML mismatch
  • 429
  • revocation
  • rollback

Resources

  • Current first-party evidence map — recheck dated sources before relying on mutable behavior.
  • Treat observed tenant behavior as environment-specific evidence, never a universal OneNote guarantee.
