navan-local-dev-loopDevelop Navan integrations against sanitized contract fixtures with networking denied by default.
Navan Local Dev Loop is an agent skill from jeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplace. Develop Navan integrations against sanitized contract fixtures with networking denied by default. Use when changing adapters, mappings, or reconciliation logic. Trigger with "develop Navan locally", "mock Navan data", or "add Navan fixtures".
Its SKILL.md is about 900 tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files, including reference files (for example `references/official-docs.md`). Compatibility notes: Designed for Claude Code; live or external Navan actions require network access and explicit approval
It sits in Business, Finance & HR, covering Accounting and bookkeeping. The repository describes itself as: Model-agnostic agent-skills platform with a harness-free canonical layer, verified adapters, and the ccpi package manager. Explore at tonsofskills.com. The licence is MIT.

Pre-approves these tools, so the agent can use them without asking each time:

Navan Local Dev Loop loads about 904 tokens when it runs, and up to ~1.2k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 66 tokens; SKILL.md has 379 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

This skill also uses 1 other file; get the full folder from GitHub.Develop Navan integrations against sanitized contract fixtures with networking denied by default. This workflow produces an auditable decision or artifact before any live action.
Local development should exercise the application-owned contract, not depend on a live tenant. Fixtures must preserve structural edge cases while removing traveler, payment, itinerary, and credential data.
Local tests require no Navan credential. An optional live smoke uses a separate non-production secret and must be explicitly enabled outside the normal test command.
Use Read, Glob, and Grep to inspect documentation, schemas, configuration, code, fixtures, and evidence. Use Write and Edit only for approved repository artifacts. Invocation alone does not authorize network access, credentials, traveler or expense data, bookings, payments, policy or identity changes, file transfers, deployments, or deletion.
Live tenant access, new fixtures derived from real data, dependency changes, and fixture publication require explicit approval.
Return fixture provenance, covered contracts, test results, network-denial evidence, uncovered fields, and optional live-smoke plan. Identify assumptions, owners, expirations, and evidence gaps explicitly.
Scan fixtures for secrets and personal data, run twice for determinism, and verify a network attempt fails. Record expected and observed results, including fail-closed behavior.

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Navan Local Dev Loop is instructions for the agent only. Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Read, Glob, Grep, Write, Edit. Compatibility (from SKILL.md): Designed for Claude Code; live or external Navan actions require network access and explicit approval.
SKILL.md contains no URLs. Any network use would come from the scripts or tools the agent runs. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Navan Local Dev Loop is published under the MIT licence (declared in SKILL.md). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 904 tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 3.6k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 323 tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
