Instantly Install Auth is an agent skill from jeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplace. Install pinned official Instantly SDK or CLI tooling and verify a least-privilege API v2 key. Use when bootstrapping an HTTP, SDK, CLI, or MCP integration. Trigger with "install the Instantly SDK", "configure Instantly authentication", or "set up the Instantly CLI".
Its SKILL.md is about 1.1k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files, including reference files (for example `references/official-docs.md`). Compatibility notes: Designed for Claude Code; live verification requires network access and an approved Instantly workspace and API v2 key
It sits in Backend & APIs, covering MCP servers. The repository describes itself as: Model-agnostic agent-skills platform with a harness-free canonical layer, verified adapters, and the ccpi package manager. Explore at tonsofskills.com. The licence is MIT.
6 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit cfae287. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves these tools, so the agent can use them without asking each time:
ReadGlobGrepWebFetchWriteEditFrom allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md.
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:
api.instantly.aiAlso links to:
developer.instantly.aiFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names these keys or tokens, usually read from environment variables:
INSTANTLY_API_KEYFrom names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.

From compatibility in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Instantly Install Auth loads about 1.1k tokens when it runs, and up to ~1.8k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 72 tokens; SKILL.md has 481 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from jeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplace at commit cfae287, republished under its MIT licence (© jeremylongshore). 481 words, ~1,137 tokens.

This skill also uses 1 other file; get the full folder from GitHub.Establish a reproducible server-side client without leaking a key or granting unnecessary scopes. Record assumptions, evidence, approval state, and rollback ownership so another operator can reproduce the result.
Use Read, Glob, and Grep to inspect code, configuration, and evidence. Use WebFetch only for current first-party Instantly documentation and package metadata. Use Write or Edit only when implementation was requested and exact target files are known; never write credentials, lead data, email content, or unrestricted environment output.
Use an API v2 key as Authorization: Bearer <key> against https://api.instantly.ai/api/v2. Grant only the endpoint-specific scopes needed, inject the key from an approved server-side secret manager, and never print, persist, commit, or place it in a URL. Treat key creation, rotation, revocation, member changes, workspace delegation, and production access as owner-approved actions.
Do not create, rotate, reveal, or revoke keys; invite or remove members; delegate across workspaces; connect sending accounts; create or activate campaigns; import or delete leads; change suppression or retention; register, patch, resume, or delete webhooks; alter plans or paid capacity; transmit diagnostics; or perform another production mutation without explicit approval from the accountable owner. Keep diagnosis read-only unless implementation was requested.
Return the workspace-safe scope, files and contracts inspected, exact API v2 routes and required scopes, evidence collected, validation result, sensitive fields redacted, remaining risk, accountable owner, approval state, and rollback or next action.
| Condition | Response |
|---|---|
401 | Stop and verify that the bearer key exists, is current, and was not revoked. |
403 | Stop and compare the operation with its exact required scope; do not broaden to all:all by default. |
429 | Coordinate the workspace-wide budget, honor endpoint overrides, and bound retries. |
| Schema or tenant mismatch | Fail closed, preserve redacted evidence, and do not retry a mutation. |
Use a compact handoff that makes scope, mutation authority, and evidence reviewable.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Instantly Install Auth needs credentials named INSTANTLY_API_KEY. Our summary lists: Node.js; A credential in INSTANTLY_API_KEY. Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Read, Glob, Grep, WebFetch, Write, Edit. Compatibility (from SKILL.md): Designed for Claude Code; live verification requires network access and an approved Instantly workspace and API v2 key.
SKILL.md names 2 domains. In commands or code: api.instantly.ai; the agent is likely to contact it when it follows the instructions. As links in the text: developer.instantly.ai. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.

About 1.1k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 4.5k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 688 tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
