fondo-sdk-patternsBuild internal tools that consume Fondo financial data exports with typed parsers, QuickBooks integration, and financial modeling patterns.
Fondo SDK Patterns is an agent skill from jeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplace. Build internal tools that consume Fondo financial data exports with typed parsers, QuickBooks integration, and financial modeling patterns. Trigger: "fondo data patterns", "fondo integration", "fondo QuickBooks sync".
Its SKILL.md is about 1.5k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts. Compatibility notes: Designed for Claude Code
It sits in Business, Finance & HR, covering Financial modeling. It works with QuickBooks. The repository describes itself as: Model-agnostic agent-skills platform with a harness-free canonical layer, verified adapters, and the ccpi package manager. Explore at tonsofskills.com. The licence is MIT.
3 steps, taken from the first numbered list in SKILL.md.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit cfae287. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves these tools, so the agent can use them without asking each time:
ReadWriteEditFrom allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are typescript).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:
api.fondo.comAlso links to:
fondo.comFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names these keys or tokens, usually read from environment variables:
FONDO_API_KEYFrom names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
Designed for Claude Code
From compatibility in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Fondo SDK Patterns loads about 1.5k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 59 tokens; SKILL.md has 254 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
The full file from jeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplace at commit cfae287, republished under its MIT licence (© jeremylongshore). 254 words, ~1,519 tokens.
.claude/skills/fondo-sdk-patterns/SKILL.md (or your agent's skills folder).Production-ready patterns for integrating with Fondo tax and accounting data. Fondo is a managed bookkeeping platform that syncs through QuickBooks Online and payroll providers. Integration uses the FONDO_API_KEY-authenticated REST endpoints for exports, the QuickBooks Online API for GL data, and structured CSV parsing with Zod validation for bulk imports.
Produce a client-validation receipt with contract/fixture version, aggregate schema and reconciliation outcome, operation ID, owner, and redacted failure reference. Do not log transactions, accounts, tax/payroll data, or tokens.
Import a fictional aggregate ledger fixture into staging, repeat it under the same operation ID, and verify duplicate suppression. Introduce an unexpected field and confirm the parser blocks it for review without revealing record contents.

Going by SKILL.md and its folder, Fondo SDK Patterns needs credentials named FONDO_API_KEY. Our summary lists: A credential in FONDO_API_KEY. Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Read, Write, Edit. Compatibility (from SKILL.md): Designed for Claude Code.
SKILL.md names 2 domains. In commands or code: api.fondo.com; the agent is likely to contact it when it follows the instructions. As links in the text: fondo.com. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Fondo SDK Patterns is published under the MIT licence (declared in SKILL.md). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 1.5k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 6.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full.
Skills that share tags, products or a category with Fondo SDK Patterns: Creating Financial Models (Chen-zexi/open-ptc-agent, 729 stars), Equity Research (rollingSirius/equity-research-skill, 453 stars), SaaS Metrics Coach (rongxinzy/RongxinAI, 154 stars) and Startup Financial Modeling (nicepkg/auto-company, 195 stars).
