clari-cost-tuningAnalyze and optimize Clari integration consumption across export quota, Copilot requests, transfer, storage, and warehouse work.
Clari Cost Tuning is an agent skill from jeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplace. Analyze and optimize Clari integration consumption across export quota, Copilot requests, transfer, storage, and warehouse work. Use when reducing unnecessary runs. Trigger with: "reduce Clari cost", "budget Clari exports", "tune Clari retention".
Its SKILL.md is about 1k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. The skill folder holds 2 other files, including reference files (for example `references/official-docs.md`). Compatibility notes: Requires workload inventory, organization limit evidence, destination usage metrics, and an approved freshness and retention policy.
The repository describes itself as: Model-agnostic agent-skills platform with a harness-free canonical layer, verified adapters, and the ccpi package manager. Explore at tonsofskills.com. The licence is MIT.

Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit cfae287. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves these tools, so the agent can use them without asking each time:

Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.

From compatibility in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
Clari Cost Tuning loads about 1k tokens when it runs, and up to ~1.5k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 66 tokens; SKILL.md has 412 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

This skill also uses 1 other file; get the full folder from GitHub.Optimize total integration consumption without inventing public Clari price claims. Provider request capacity, large result transfer, raw-data retention, repeated transformations, and warehouse scans are measurable levers even when commercial pricing is contract-specific.
Tag every scheduled or ad hoc request with owner, business outcome, surface, window, selected data, and destination.
Track export quota, Copilot calls, result size, transfer, landing retention, transformation compute, warehouse storage, and query scans.
Reuse immutable approved snapshots, coalesce identical requests, narrow history and fields, and resume from checkpoints instead of full reruns.
Give operational, analytical, audit, and backfill workloads explicit cadences and defer low-value work when quota or budget is constrained.
Keep raw data only as policy requires, compact normalized data, partition by access pattern, and preserve lineage even when payloads expire.
Compare consumption savings with freshness, recovery, correctness, and compliance impact before promoting a change.
Consumption telemetry must contain credential references and workload identifiers, never secret values or sensitive payloads. Do not create additional tokens to bypass organization limits.
Use Read and Grep to inspect configuration, provider contracts, fixtures, logs, schemas, and existing tests before proposing a change. Use Write or Edit only for the approved plan, implementation, test, or redacted receipt; do not issue, rotate, revoke, create, update, cancel, delete, export, ingest, or publish provider data without explicit operator approval.
Return the exact surface, environment, resource or job identifiers, contract fingerprint, evidence, unresolved risks, and final decision without exposing credentials or sensitive customer data.
A team replaces six overlapping quarterly exports with one immutable snapshot shared by approved consumers, retains raw data only for the required window, and preserves separate transformations and lineage.
| Failure | Response |
|---|---|
| Savings reduce required freshness | Restore the approved cadence for the affected service level. |
| Shared snapshot mixes authorization scopes | Separate exports and storage boundaries even if consumption increases. |
| Quota attribution is missing | Pause noncritical schedules until owners and business purposes are recorded. |

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: Clari Cost Tuning is instructions for the agent only. Its frontmatter pre-approves these tools: Read, Grep, Write, Edit. Compatibility (from SKILL.md): Requires workload inventory, organization limit evidence, destination usage metrics, and an approved freshness and retention policy..
SKILL.md names 2 domains. As links in the text: developer.clari.com and api-doc.copilot.clari.com. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
Clari Cost Tuning is published under the MIT licence (declared in SKILL.md). It allows redistribution, so the full SKILL.md is shown on this page.
About 1k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 4.1k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 489 tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
