apple-notes-install-authSet up macOS automation access for Apple Notes via AppleScript, JXA, and Shortcuts.
Apple Notes Install Auth is an agent skill from jeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplace. Set up macOS automation access for Apple Notes via AppleScript, JXA, and Shortcuts. Use when configuring accessibility permissions, setting up osascript access, or initializing Apple Notes automation on macOS. Trigger: "setup apple notes", "apple notes automation", "apple notes permissions".
Its SKILL.md is about 1.3k tokens, which your agent loads only when the skill is triggered. It is a single SKILL.md file with no bundled scripts. Compatibility notes: Designed for Claude Code
It sits in Frontend & Design, covering Desktop control and Accessibility. It works with macOS and JavaScript. The repository describes itself as: Model-agnostic agent-skills platform with a harness-free canonical layer, verified adapters, and the ccpi package manager. Explore at tonsofskills.com. The licence is MIT.

Apple Notes Install Auth loads about 1.3k tokens when it runs. Until then it costs about 79 tokens; SKILL.md has 316 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.

For a first-time setup, run one read-only count against the intended account and accept the macOS prompt in the interactive session. Do not use the list wrapper against a production account unless the task specifically requires metadata discovery; it can expose titles in terminal history and CI logs. For Shortcuts, use a non-production shortcut and a test note rather than a workflow that creates notes in a default account.
