near-api-jsReference for building with near-api-js v7 in TypeScript or JavaScript: accounts, keys, signing, contract calls, tokens, unit conversion and meta-transactions on NEAR.
The skill is a working guide to near-api-js v7, which runs in the browser and in Node.js. It covers the Account class, JsonRpcProvider and failover providers, KeyPair and signer types, contracts with and without an ABI, seed phrase helpers, fungible token helpers and the actions used to build transactions, along with a list of RPC endpoints for mainnet, FastNEAR and testnet.
Reference files go deeper on API patterns, contracts, key management, meta-transactions for gasless flows with relayers, NEP-413 message signing for authentication and token handling, including storage deposits for fungible token contracts. It also covers converting between NEAR, yocto and gas units.
Read from SKILL.md and the folder at commit fa89195. It shows what the files ask for, not the result of running them.
Pre-approves nothing: there is no allowed-tools line, so your agent's usual permission prompts apply.
From allowed-tools in the SKILL.md frontmatter.
No scripts in the folder and no shell commands in SKILL.md (its code samples are typescript).
From the folder's file list and the shell code blocks in SKILL.md.
Hosts in commands or code, which the agent is likely to contact:
rpc.mainnet.near.orgfree.rpc.fastnear.comtest.rpc.fastnear.comrpc.testnet.near.orgFrom URLs in SKILL.md, links to its own repository left out.
Names no API keys, tokens, secrets or passwords.
From names ending in _API_KEY, _TOKEN, _SECRET, _KEY or _PASSWORD in SKILL.md.
near-api-js Developer Guide loads about 4.1k tokens when it runs, and up to ~13k if it reads all its reference files. Until then it costs about 163 tokens; SKILL.md has 133 words of instructions outside code blocks.
Estimates: characters ÷ 4, the usual rule of thumb; real counts depend on the model's tokenizer. Scripts and assets cost tokens only if the agent reads them.
The automated check found no risky patterns in SKILL.md.
Automated static check — not a guarantee. Review scripts before installing. It scans the text of SKILL.md for risky patterns (piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files, hidden Unicode, destructive commands); files beside SKILL.md are not scanned.
Its licence (Custom licence) doesn't allow us to republish the file, so here is its outline and opening line. It has 133 words (~4,106 tokens).
“JavaScript/TypeScript library for NEAR blockchain interaction. Works in browser and Node.js.”

SKILL.md names no scripts, command-line tools or credentials: near-api-js Developer Guide is instructions for the agent only. Our summary lists: The near-api-js package; Node.js or a browser runtime.
SKILL.md names 4 domains. In commands or code: rpc.mainnet.near.org, free.rpc.fastnear.com, test.rpc.fastnear.com and rpc.testnet.near.org; the agent is likely to contact these when it follows the instructions. This is read from the text; nothing was executed.
Our automated static check of SKILL.md found no risky patterns, such as piping downloads into a shell, reading credential files or hidden Unicode. It is not a guarantee. Review the folder before installing.
near-api-js Developer Guide has a licence file (from the LICENSE file in the skill folder) that doesn't match a standard licence. Read it on GitHub before reusing the skill.
About 4.1k tokens (SKILL.md is roughly 16k characters). Agents keep only the skill's name and description in context until a task matches; then they load SKILL.md in full. Its references folder adds about 9.3k tokens, read only when the agent opens those files.
